and 95% of people would tell the truth

every country  now the people seems to be taking its OK to lie  as our head of govt do all the time

what has happened to our values

my Thai wife and i grew up with honest values

and are stunned to see now people never telling the true story here

she tells me to turn off the TV when trump name is heard

This lying business only applies to the rest of the world, but not for Thailand.

The notion, that Farangs retire in Thailand for "the women, the beaches, the weather" etc is just "fake-news".

Actually they come here to spend their "golden-years" in a tranquil, LIE-FREE environment.

Simple answer is that 'Deception Rewards'  A penalty taker scores by deceiving the goalkeeper, a bowler takes a wicket by by misleading the batsmen. It is a sad fact of life but it is natural to lie because more often than not it rewards.
