Love my New Mazda CX3

Featured Replies

For 1,060,000 baht I bought a Mazda CX3. I drove the Honda HRV and also a couple of bigger SUVs.

I highly recommend the CX3, looks great, handles really well and get over 500km for 1000 baht.

I bought a diesel about a month ago and loving it too. Test drove both gasoline and diesel and felt that both are good with gasoline being eager to rev, diesel with plenty of torque. Finally I paid premium for diesel just because I have never had a car with diesel and loved the feeling of torque.

Great looking SUV!

Does it come in 4wd?

No 4WD version for Thailand (as the Honda H-RV).

I bought the Gasoline engine because the Diesel was not available at the the introduction of the CX-3. I also choose the Gasoline engine, because I mostly use the car for short distance and I knew it from my Mazda 3 it replaced (better ground clearance).

But I had the chance to drive a Diesel Mazda 2 for about a week and I am very impressed of this little engine, very powerful and very fuel economic.

Is there an option to buy it in the neighbouring country (indonesia) and import to thailand? If so, is it worth it?

If not - is diesel much faster than petrol version? I just had a test drive of 2.0HP model last week and overall i'm happy with the car and actually considering to buy one but would prefer something quicker. Just wondering if diesel worth extra 100k thb.

depends how fast you want. I got to 180 quite comfortably. I wouldn't want to go any faster.

I don't even think i will need to drive faster than 140 but i want to be able to accelerate quicker. Just wondering if the diesel version does it much better than the petrol one. The diesel one may also be harder to sell later.

People say cx-3 is better than hr-v performance wise so no wonder :)

It's just that one thing that i wanted this car to do better. Oh and also power seats would be nice.
