Every week, even in the bigger nation papers you will find this;

Buffé and FREE WINE FLOW, welcome!

And some more or less innocent bar girls are arrested. Thailand, the double standard country of the world.

What you in for?

Ah, I liked a wrong Facebook post

and you?

Invited friends for a beer

Exactly but, slowly, the Junta are losing friends. No twerking (well only 4 allowed), no inviting people to drink beer, no Walking Street signs, no FB posts that are not 'Junta Friendly'. What next?  No sex on Mondays?

This is another example of the sort of thing that makes Thailand look ridiculous to the rest of the world.

It really doesnt .

Thailand has a problem with Thais drinking too much

The Thai gov is trying to stop Thais drinking too much

And arresting a few pretties will very quickly sort that problem out.

Yes, same as jailing my wife for my excessive drinking. This will solve the problem!

If this is all they have to concentrate on heaven help the country is all i can say.

Thailand is beyond hope. Heaven or otherwise. It is all downhill from hereon.

The favourite saying used to be ....."if you don't like it get out".

The new favourite saying might ....."get out while you can".

Perhaps we should seek guidance from the PM on would be an appropriate drink to consume after noon apart from Milo and Ovaltine. What about Oxo or Bovril?

What a 'Police State' this lovely country is becoming................

SAD...................

Using 'social media' to hang someone, or incriminate them........ WOW......

I miss the 'good ole days'........... before the 'puritans' came along.......

Every Country has this same problem. You can bring a horse to water but you cannot make him drink. That's up to him!

It's the draconian approach to it causing a rift on the street.

What do you propose, sharia law?

No, I do not propose Sharia law

Many Countries have measures to stop the consumption of alcohol

Bans on advertising , bans on promotions and public awareness campaigns to stop people drinking excessively

There is no rift in the street

It will not stop people from drinking, that wasnt the aim.

It will stop people being encouraged to drink

A Good measure , IMO
