regarding the above, never try to eat them, but I wonder if they can be hot smoked.

Any of you have tried it.

Yes...they can. I have eaten smoked catfish back in Louisiana, smoked along with sausage and ribs.....very, very good.

Pla duk has to be my favourite fresh water fish here, cooked any way.

Thanks for that, I will try next week, fire up the oven and see how they come out.

You where right, little bit like eel, I was suppriesed.

I smoked them together with Saba as you can see in the picture.
