Yes it has.

But I would probably never notice it since I do not use it  to do searches. I use this one. https://www.thaivisa.com/forum/search/ That you can get to by hovering mouse pointer over FORUMS at the top of the page and the click search.

 

The search facility was particularly useful to search the sub-forum you are viewing at the time...

Search is fixed now.

On my Chromium browser the search box partially obscures the drop-down notifications menu.

 

Same on Chrome and Firefox - seems that the search box is set to be 'always on top'.

 

My OS is Linux Mint 18.1 - don't know if this is relevant.
