Ducati repair in chiang rai

Featured Replies

Hi,

hope someone can help me on this,

I have got my hypermotard up in chiangrai and it seem that front left fork is leaking oil.

I am back in bkk now and I have no idea where to take it.

Does anyone know any reputable shop where I can take it to fix?i am not in a rush bike is parked at home but I would fix it before I fly up there again.

I already contacted Ducati in bkk and I am waiting for feedback but I am happy to explore different shop if any open.

Thanks

There's an official Ducati dealer in Chiang Mai if you can get it there. If it's still under warranty then that's probably the closest place to handle it.

Thanks, yes if I do not find anything suitable I will take it there...bike is 3 y old already...so any proper shop would work for me...
Funny thing is that there was no leakage at all when I parked last week...I guess it was already worn out and just happened since I did not get and hole or bumping as far as I recall...

you are in big luck

there is a ducati specialist in chiang rai that worked on every model so far (even the latest 1299 s)

i own a panigale 1199s and he did a complete desmo service (even has a tool to reset maintenance schedules etc)

in my opinion he does a better job than ducati chiangmai that couldn't fix my sensor problem and wanted to transfer it to ducati bangkok

here is a link to his facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Num_rc-เดอะเชียงกง-Munti-Pro-Shop/1408622002706210?fref=ts

you can tell him that "nat" recommend the shop

you should directly message to his personal facebook rather than his shop page or you can shoot me a pm and ill try to help you out

If the recommendation is from Nat (Of Piston shop fame) then you cannot go wrong.  He runs a very tight shop in Chiang Mai and knows his stuff. Many a falang (And Thai) take their big bikes to his shop... very good service and fair pricing.

Im sure the Chiang Rai shop will live up to Nats recommendation.

Many thanks I will definitely contact them,  and see what can be arranged.

Possibly/probably a tiny fleck of dirt.

Google/You Tube;

Seal Doctor or similar. Less than $10.

Every toolbox should have one. Can make your own.

Will cure 18 out of 20 fork seal oil leaks.
