Sci-Fi Collectibles in Bangkok?

Featured Replies

I live in Cambodia but get to make a trip to Thailand every year or so. I was wondering if any forum members know of any good shops for picking up sci-fi memorabilia and collectibles. I'm particularly looking for things like Star Trek / Star Wars ship models, posters, etc.

I'll be coming again in September for a week.

in Central World plaza on the top floor there's an alley full of it.

At the top of Siam Discovery there's a big store with sci-fi/superhero memorabilia.  I think it is called Hello Super Hero.

It is near Outback Steakhouse IIRC.

General comment for anyone interested. I have about 50 or more Amazing, Astounding, Galaxy pulp mags in mostly good order (spines intact and covers good etc) and some fanzines of various ages.
Willing to sell individually for the right price if anyone is interested.

the Night Market behind Seacon has some shops that have loads of that kind of stuff

If you like to search on 2nd hand markets you should go to Central Rattanathibet in the weekend..friday-sun there's a huge 2nd hand market all night long, even 24hrs iirc. It is right next to the mall at the other side of the road.

You can search there for hours and there's also plenty to eat.

Mega Plaza Saphan Lek might be worth a look - tonnes of video games, toys and anime models etc. there!
