Are you asking about the game that is played on a basketball sized court with a smaller ball ? It is played in the schools.

I've seen what looks like an astro turf pitch for 5 aside on Hasta Disewi Road. I've seen thais play there quite regulary and tempted to pop along and ask for a game! I really miss a friendly game of 5 a-side, so if anyone is interested ...

I'd definately be up for that as would my mate too, we don't get to Chiang Mai till March 07 though. We both play 5-a-side regularly and I'd want to continue playing while I'm in CM.

Cheers

New to this forum :o I will be in CM 20th March for about 11 weeks?? and not played 5 a side for ages but when I get there would be for some football. If there is a regular game played every week ?? can you let me know and count me in, many thanks, Oggy.

I plan on moving to CM later this year and would love to be part of a 5-a-side or 11-a-side competition. I guess I'll just keep an eye on this topic.

It seems it is only people on their way to CM are interested. I suspect once they arrive their are other temptations that take the mind off kicking a ball about. :o

Tesco Lotus on Hang Dong road has hosted a 5 a side tournament in their car park for each of the last 3 years. It is sponsored by the company nationally, so you could try contacting their management.

Thanks for your constructive answer p1p. I suspect there are others who may find their fulfilment in a much narrower range of things.

I'm keen to play some football too, maybe we should make our own team??

I was keen to play and keep an eye on the post but some one :o posted the link to weather ??? so never bothered.

Hey.. I'm moving to CM next week for at least a year.. i didn't play football for 4 years now, but really like the idea of kicking some ball again :o Let me know when and where and i'm in! (dutch guy 25 yo)

check with Warren who can usually be found at the U.N. Irish Pub on weekends for the premiership football. He is/used to be involved with the 'Farangutangs' eleven a side team.

i'm back in CM and still keen on a friendly game of 5 a-side. Is there anything going on at the moment? If not, maybe we could organise something?
