Best gym weight lifting in Sukhumvit

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Which gym would be the best in Sukhumvit soi 24 area best for weight training? I am usually going at 11am or 1pm to train, so no problems with rush hours. I dont care about the price, I just need the right place for body building.

thanks

If u want something really close to soi 24, I would go for Virgin in Emquartier. They have all the stuff you need in terms of free weights although it's mostly frequented by the 'fitness' category. They do one day passes at abt 800 baht.

Thanks. ASPIRE is more like for cross fit. I been to emquarter its too busy alot of ppl also its inside the shopping mall not so convenient. Will try muscle gym. Anyone been to 7 fitness sukhumvit? The 24 hour gym and can say how is it?

Weight training for insecure, immature half-men only. Have you seen how many bodybuilders have died recently? Rich Piana yesterday, another American one (only 26) whose name I forgot just a days ago. No need to make your muscles bigger, just make your brain bigger by picking up a book.

Or train for strength like an athlete. Body building is for looks, not function or strength.

Would it be ok with you if we combine training with reading - or do you hold some general antipathy  against training, possibly stemming from your school years?

Please stop feeding the trolls ... they like the attention.

There's a gym in the S31 building. Which as you might guess is close to Soi 31 Sukhumvit.

No idea what sort of equipment it has but might be worth a look. Cant miss the building, its the one with the coloured poles sticking through the side of it.

Have you seen how many obese people died recently. Most people attacking bodybuilders are those not in good shape and prefer to attack others then to rectify their own faults. You can't make your brain bigger by picking up a book. You can get smarter by studying many subjects, who says bodybuilding excludes using your brain (for a certain kind of people it does but certainly not all)

I've checked it out and would not really recommend. Not only is it insanely overpriced, they only had dumbells up to 34kg or something and a single (although high quality) deadlifting platform with olympic weights.

@OP I realise Muscle Factory is a bit far for your location. There is also a small and very cheap gym called Tony's Gym near Asoke that has all the equipment you need. Or check out another one called Balance Health Club, it's quite big, a nice and affordable gym with plenty of equipment, located between Phrom Phong and Thong Lor.

It was not steroids that killed him, but insulin (so I have heard) Insulin is a few steps above steroids danger wise.

Aspire

Don't waste your time with this place, OP.

More crossfit than serious weights.

Fitness First at Landmark Hotel near soi 4 is much better and virtually empty at the times you mentioned
