Best way to get Stirling (bank notes) into Bitcoin in Thailand

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any ideas about what the best way to convert my Stirling banknotes into Bitcoin is?

I exchanged some baht to Stirling before the idiots voted to ruin the UK and thought I may as well see if I can use Bitcoin to recover my losses.

Or just bung it straight into my Kbank account to save mucking about.

I was hoping there was a nice elegant solution, but I guess simple is best.

Convert to AUD, and you won't do too badly. Or Swiss francs. They seem to appreciate every time there is a global crisis.  IMHO, bitcoins are like the South Sea bubble or the tulip craze. If you want to trust a block of computer code, good luck.

Well he is trying to get you a slightly better rate for it.  Not really mucking about.

I suppose your bank keeps your funds in ironed Stirling notes, nicely stacked up in piles to be ready for you :)

Did you know that less than 10% of the fiat currency in circulation is paper money- the rest is a block of computer code kept on the banks server. But let's trust the bank, right?
