Problem with: Monthly Quality Rollup for W7 for 64 based systems

Featured Replies

Can anyone help - please note I am not a techie when it comes to computers.

I use W7 most recent version.

Windows Updates - Monthly Quality Rollup for W7 for 64 based systems.

Yes, I notice many updates are fixing errors in previous updates ......

When trying to install KB4022719 it failed.

I checked IE browser ( which I normally don't use ) made sure userdata update persistence was enabled.

Went to windows list of updates available, typed in number and it asked me to check persistence was enabled -

I did, tried again to get update and it asked me again to persistence enabled.

Can anyone help me round this ?

Second question relates to Googles Analytics when they asked for your acceptance of their regulations.

Should I download the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser add-on ?

Keep it simple please - if possible, thanks.

Hope it helps to get feedback.

Microsoft has been having issues with some of the security patches rolled out recently.

Microsoft admits IE printing problems after installing the June security patches KB 4021558, KB 4022719, KB 4021558

The issue you're experiencing is not a simple fix. I found an example post of what a Win7-32 user is going through trying to apply this particular rollup, and the suggestions for clearing the issues.

Also, if you can install the next rollup,

"the July Monthly Security roll-up (KB4025341) installed okay. Since it includes the previous months fixes then the initial problem doesn't need to be fixed. I guess it was a bug with last months rollup...."
