Upload to You-Tube

I uploaded a vid from web cam to You-Tube OK but when try to post on TV it says :-  The link could not be embedded because www.youtube.com does not allow embedding of that video.

If someone can help with step by step info how l can fix it many thanks.

I tried info from web site unsuccessfully.

So you already were in the Video Manager and checked the extended settings for the video ("Allow embedding" or the like)?

 

Is your video publicly shared?

I just fiddled with one of my videos and changed the sharing modes.

With "Private" I get exactly this message:

"The link could not be embedded because www.youtube.com does not allow embedding of that video. "

This would be one of the reasons.

Public and unlisted videos can be embedded except you have unchecked the extended option (which seems on by default).
