No Yes No Maybe work a little more on your vast knowledge before you write that book. My rule #1: You are the boss, behave like that. Otherwise, she will be the boss, and you won't like that.

Yes, you are right. This is why these kind of meetings are in secret and nobody knows about them. Psst. -

A picnic on the lawn outside the apartment. How exiting. And obviously such an exciting event must be recorded and streamed to the world. I am getting too old for this s@$@#.

A lot can go wrong. And many of us motorcycle riders expect the (in Thailand not so) unexpected. I wonder how many motorcycle riders who ride sensible (the doesn't mean slow) die in accidents. Of course it can happen to anybody. But it seems many motorcycle riders just ride like stupid idiots. If nobody changes the lane or the speed then they will survive, and maybe they are even the fastest on the road. But if anybody brakes or changes the lane then lots of idiots die because they never thought about that they are not alone on the road. And then there are many car drivers who obviously never rode a bike. And lots of motorcycle riders who never drove a car. They don't understand each other because they don't know the perspective of the other.

Sounds like a horrible life!

Sometimes I also have that problem. And I have "magic" medicine against it. The medicine is prescription only and they don't sell it in pharmacies. So, I suggest, visit a doctor. The magic part is that if I have that problem and I take one little pill, in 15min the problem is gone for 3 days. But it's important that I take the pills only if really necessary. Regular use is not a good idea, according to my doctor.

Damage is definitely not restricted to people who worked in that business. -

Did she take drugs? Does she take drugs? Are you sure? Because (illegal) drugs are often part of that behavior. I don't think the situation will get any better by doing nothing. So, apart from possible drug problem, I guess you have to put the foot down - and keep it down. Behave, or else. Otherwise, she will continue like this forever. And then maybe in 10 years you still ask yourself why you didn't finish this bad situation already. Do it! And live where you want to live. You are the boss - or at least you should be the boss. -

If they overheat, then maybe put a fan somewhere near them. -
Anyone have or tried the mini computers ?
OneMoreFarang replied to CharlieH's topic in IT and Computers
Mini PCs are made by many companies since many years. But I would be surprised if they are all the same quality. Bu now I installed maybe 30 or more Intel NUCs and they all work fine. But obviously it also depends on the configuration. I.e. a PC with too little memory has too little memory, it doesn't matter if NUC, notebook, desktop, whatever. As far as I know all Intel NUCs allow to change the RAM and HDD or SDD and (I guess now all also have) M.2 storage. -

No I guess your son's definition of gaming is not playing cards or chess. 😉 -

I disagree. I like my full-size keyboard and decent size monitor. I work on my (fast and good) notebook if I am traveling or visit a client. But at home I prefer the "big" setup. And depending on the work, two monitors make life much better. As far as I remember, all Intel NUC support two monitors. -

My clients use Intel NUCs since probably 10 years or more. They work just fine for office and most other work. Obviously, they have limited options for upgrades, but who needs these days a couple of "hard disks"? And gamers who need lots of graphic power obviously buy something big. But, be careful which model you buy. I don't know the current lineup, but years ago Intel sold fasts NUCs and also some slow models - which looked 90% the same. -

Supercar convoy causes major delays on M6 motorway (video)

If they close the street anyhow, let them drive with >200km for the ride and then it's over. Or are the cars too low so that anything over 60km/h would damage them? -

I think buildings, including land, are a different thing. I know a lady who owns two buildings in Soi Cowboy. I imagine one day there won't be any bars anymore and someone wants to buy the land to build another skyscraper...
-
There is a huge different between the asking price and what they will maybe sell it for. I am sure there are still lots of guys out there who love the idea to own a bar and have too much money. But more realistic people, like people who own other bars in that area, wouldn't pay so much.
