  1. I had the same problem years ago. Your old passport number is still in the 90 day reporting system and there is no way to change it. From my experience, even doing it in person once didn't fix it. Have to leave the country and come back in on the new passport and then the online 90 day reporting will start working for you again.
  2. After many years of running into the occasional hiccup like this I've learned that it always best to stick with whatever is the standard that is expected by immigration. Even if you come up with a better solution for something, it may not be appreciated unfortunately. In other words, if everybody gives them copies in black-and-white, then just do the same, for better or for worse, just to avoid running into issues like this in the future.
  3. Hard to say. It's always good to keep your old passports for situations like this. I know from personal experience that, if you get a new passport, and you want to update your passport information on your account with a Thai bank then they always ask to see both the old passport for verification and the new passport to be added to your account. So it's always good to have both.
  4. Serious answer: A nuclear holocaust is a zero sum game for everyone. So it's the least of anything I ever worry about. No winners, only losers. Nobody gets out of here alive. So wherever you live, the best case scenario is that (if it ever comes to WW3) the bombs start to fall on you first, then you don't have to witness any of the horrific suffering to come. In the meantime; eat good food, enjoy a fat spliff, shag like there is no tomorrow, be kind to everyone, and be thankful for what you've got.
  5. The last time anyone mistook me for a child was decades ago, but thank you kindly for the compliment. Please also remember to let me know when the bombs start falling. I love watching fireworks.
  6. Maybe the problem is the women and he need a lady boy instead.
  7. I hope this doesn't have effect on the availability of Khao Mun Guy. 🤢🙄😳
  8. Anyway, if you entered your 13 digit foreigner ID card number into the RD website (it's not a citizen card if it's a pink ID card), and it says that you have an account already, then I think you can safely assume that this is your correct Thai tax ID number. That means your problem is solved and you can provide this 13 digit number as your TIN to your banks in Germany and Switzerland.
  9. AFAIR The transition from 10-digit to 13-digit tax ID numbers for foreigners in Thailand occurred in September 2017. Anyway, which website are you trying to log into? RD or another one? If it says you have an account already then try putting in your regular email address and tell it you forgot your password. Maybe it will email you a password reset link. Then you can reset your password and login.

    Rats in Silom

TBH, all the (different types of) rats in Bangkok have been here longer than any of us. And nothing is going to be done about them. I don't like them either, but the city has much bigger environmental urban problems to try to deal with like traffic, air pollution, flooding, clogged canals, sea level rising, and lack of green space. So it seems futile to try to figure out solutions (which will never be implemented) to get rid of them. The only solution is to get used to them because most likely they aren't going anywhere.
  11. I took that format I provided from a standard Thai Revenue Department Taxpayer Identification Card.

    Rats in Silom

FFS, always the pesky whimsical babbling poet. You didn't post anything for over 24 hours and I took it as a positive omen. Now you come roaring back, just like the rats that are seemingly impossibly to get rid of. 🤦🏾‍♂️
  13. If you have a 10 digit number, and go to your local revenue department branch, then they will automatically convert your 10 digit number to a new 13 digit number. If you are not certain of your TIN then if you bring the passport to the revenue department (the one that you used to apply for your original TIN) then they should be able to locate your TIN record in their system.
  14. If you have a 13 digit TIN already, and eventually you apply for a pink id card later on, then usually the 13 digit numbers on the TIN card and the pink id card do not match and will not be the same.
  15. On the 13 digit tax ID card issued by the revenue department for foreigners it typically looks like this: XXX-X-XXXXXXXX-X
  16. But they make some of the best 20 Baht wooden backscratchers and body massagers you can find. 😂 Actually, ceramics and bamboo furniture from the north are quite decent. And in the North there are also artisans making some high quality ornamental stuff made from pewter and other high quality materials. To find the really good stuff in Thailand requires visiting trade shows though and you aren't going to find much of it in tourist markets. It's here, but it's not in the mainstream and it's usually pretty high priced if the quality is high. Occasionally you can find some decent stuff in Hang Dong, but it's hit or miss.

    Rats in Silom

In NYC they use all means available. They put out poison pellets, fill rat boroughs with dry ice, concrete, dirt, and other materiel, and volunteers use their dogs (terriers) to catch them at night. Only the dogs actually capture them. The other methods they use kill and/or burry them on the spot.
  18. That's interesting. Did you make oil with it? And did you decarb it in an oven first? The KD looks like pure green jungle weed in the photo with no hairs or flowers. Surprised you feel it's stronger than 10% THC. But potency will also come down to the ratio of weed to whatever you are infusing it into I believe. For example, if you used an ounce of weed with half a cup of oil it would be pretty strong oil, even if the weed had only 10% THC. Not familiar with Silver Haze, but the KD seller lists quite a few other higher priced strains: Gorilla 1g. / 30.- Godfather 1g. / 30.- Cookie 1g. / 30.- Black Lebanon 1g. / 40.- Fat Banana 1g. / 40.- North Thunder<deleted> 1g. / 40.- Blue Mystic 1g. / 40.- Royal Gorilla 1g. / 40.- Shogun 1g. / 40.- Mimosa 1g. / 40.- Sherbet Queen 1g. / 40.- Amnesia Haze 1g. / 40.- Green Crack Punch 1g. / 40.- Triple G 1g. / 40.- Mother Gorilla 1g. / 40.- Wedding Crasher 1g. / 40.- Gorilla Cookie 1g. / 40.- Bubblegum XL 1g. / 40.- Cookie Gelato 1g. / 40.- It all looks pretty similar quality though to the KD based on the photos.
  19. 800-1,200 Baht is the average cost for an office visit involving only a consultation. Cost depends on the doctor. Top specialists might charge slightly more, but presumably no more than 1,500. If you have an x-ray then why didn't you get treated by the hospital that did the x-ray?
  20. Sounds like your meter could be malfunctioning too. Would you be interested to sell it? 😂
  21. Or so the condo management office has stated. If they are somehow involved in the bills being too high then any information they provide can't be relied upon.

    Rats in Silom

The rat problem is big in cities like London, New York and Paris too. Especially those cities because they all have underground subway systems that are nearly 100 years old. So the rats have had a long time to build large communities deep underground. I used to walk down the street in Bangkok and be bothered by all the rats and roaches at night. It made me uncomfortable. Now I barely even noticed them. That's when you know you've become a real city dweller. If you stay in Bangkok long enough, then you'll get there too.
  23. You are actually going to have to submit a number of other documents, besides just the 12 month bank statement, both financial and personal related. Have you applied for an extension of a one year visa before and do you know all the document requirements?
  24. Kratom's risks include potential dependence, addiction, and adverse effects such as nausea, constipation, and in severe cases, respiratory depression. It provides a euphoric feeling and as a result has similar dependency risks as opioids. A number of locals have talked about their teenage children having gotten badly hooked on it.
  25. You can go to Bangkok Christian Hospital on Silom Road and see an orthopedic doctor. The costs there of an initial doctor's visit and x-rays are very reasonable and the doctors are good. I wouldn't keep putting it off. If the bone is broken, and it starts to set on its own, it could be even more difficult to fix later. Time could be working against you. Go see a proper doctor and see what they conclude. Only a doctor can examine you and tell you what's really needed.
