  1. Great, more checks. 🙄 Actually it’s a good thing as people take the piss with huge cabin bags. They should really be weighing passengers though. Enough with the tiptoeing around shaming. If I’m normal weight but am 1kg over on my bag I get the shaft, while guy 3x my size with bag weight within limits in same cost seat gets a free pass?
  2. Perhaps by then they will be giving old timers one for free lol
  3. Growing? Always has been; and it’s a hub of everything else…
  4. What a lowlife. Hope he gets deported. There’s enough misfits here as it is.
  5. Thailand Fights to Cool Rapid Rise of the Baht There a first. Cool it by 0.1% perhaps? It’s about 30% overpriced.
  6. Yep, why do they even care? A bit sad. I don’t partake (or need to) but don’t understand why some people get bent out of shape in what others do or don’t do. They might think it harmless or a bit of fun but it’s also got racial undertones. The op seems to have a problem with white people specifically. A weird topic all round really.
  7. Someone should tell the retailers. Everything seems to be ever more expensive.
  8. Gawd, there are done boring b’stards in the world. If you don’t enjoy the thrill of an actual rollercoaster —not entirely what op is alluding to I suspect—then there’s gotta be something wrong with you. Probably a generational thing. 😜
  9. Since much of Thai culture has been borrowed from the Khmer, I find this pretty cringe. Women are also similarly attired in Vietnam. What next, complain about the Burmese making papaya salad?
  10. Wow, Thailand is full swing into this robbing tax thing now and the screwing of the people. Learned from the shyster British government no doubt.
  11. Yeah send him to Oz with all the other crims lol.
  12. This pathetic little baby is still at it. What’s he going to do, take it to the international criminal court? HE ABUSED HER! She’ll just laugh at him. Hope Thailand never gets to hold MU again.
  13. I hope whinging Oz does too. You guys really need to sort yourselves out and grow up, get a flag etc. These poor sods have a duty to go to these places since still part of the commonwealth. As for moneys, aside from whatever you do to accommodate them, UK royalty is NOT taxpayers money and never has been for generations. Not counting tourism rev, They still put more in than is granted. Way more. Look into the affairs of the Crown Estate. Of course you wouldn’t know that and probably most Brits don’t because they’re thick. We might not like conquest and the rest of it, but it is what it is. Agree regards the ‘hangers on’. They are somewhat a waste of space, similar to the snotty House of Lords donkeys, unelected peers. But why just the UK royals? They’re all over Europe. Guess it’s typical chip on shoulder bogun oz tat. Think yourselves lucky you weren’t colonised by Spain or Belgium. So yes, stop whining grow a spine and cut the tether, because I can pretty much vouch for 99.9% of Brits in that we have our own problems and don’t give a F what you do. 🙂
  14. Never really had a good paid massage in Thailand and certainly not in a naughty setting. They might be renowned for it but doesn’t mean squat. Have typically found them either lazy, incompetent or just plain crap and overly aggressive because they think harder is better. Not Thai bashing because they are my folk, just what I’ve experienced. Cheap to high end CM spa with rocks etc, best I ever had here was a quick going over off a friend and a 100 baht beach rub in Ao Nang around year 2000. Few have the ‘hands’ for it. For a genuine massage, can’t beat one from another half who wants to do it and actually cares. It’s as much about energy transfer as the physical side.
  15. They might say to get a police report, but I’d ask the retailer first as you normally return the bike to them to swap for reg plate.
  16. Would say practically none, esp to bank account. Why would a domestic have any bearing on that? The police probably hear this kind of bs from spurned trollops all the time. She might even say she knows this or that cop blah blah. Voice memo her nonsense and just walk. Being blackmailed is not nice.
  17. No thanks but each to their own.
  18. Some folks are just blinded by it and would follow him into oblivion. From someone who doesn’t have a dog in this fight (albeit he’s costing us all), it’s obvious why he’s become unpopular even among his own. First and foremost, he is costing people money. To the last, ALL politicians say they will do this and that to get in—‘WE WILL NEVER RAISE TAXES’ etc—and then what do they do? My own shyster gov is the same. Rat bags the lot of em.
  19. It was really. That mentality is it’s okay that she was killed because others have died elsewhere. All that belongs in a different thread. Got nothing to do with her.
  20. We wouldn’t need to if we ate ans nature intended—organic whole foods—but our over-farmed earth is generally so shot with lack of minerals. I do some of the above, like mag glycinate and ascorbic acid. Found MSM (sulphur) great for the joints (certainly one up from ibuprofen) with no side effects. Have humic & fulvic which also seems to help the gut. Good multi b vitamin (methylated). iHerb has some awesome products. Bit off topic, but L reuteri culture in homemade yogurt is a beaut for the gut and fermented foods like cabbage, sauerkraut, sourdough. For those with acid problems (many of us), have found cabbage juice (not the fibre, which can make things worse) calms stomach problems fast.
  21. What a beaut. Saying that, she’s probably heard it all and is possibly a nightmare to work for. Coming into Don Mueang just before Covid, there was an absolute stunner on the desk. Mesmerising really. Half hoped my papers weren’t in order so I could be ‘questioned’.
  22. The nice surroundings and everyone smiling thing is probably more for international consumption to show the world how good and humane Thai prisons actually are. 🤔
