  1. I never payed a fee at Chiang Mai and I was asked to fill in the above form.
  2. As per normal this process will vary slightly from office to office. I had my stamps transferred to my new passport earlier this year at Chiang Mai and I can 100% confirm that there was an application form to fill in. But, weirdly this form is not the same as the one used for the same process at Bangkok immigration, which you can download off the internet.
  3. There is nothing like a nice civet crappuccino...
  4. I think giving all existing prisoners the same treatment as Thaksin isn't really doable...
  5. I definitely feel privileged to have "come of age" during the 70s and 80s. It was a simpler time where people didn't rely on technology and hand held electronic devices to run their lives. People weren't so easily offended and snowflakes were just something that fell from the sky every winter.
  6. I walk an average of 15,000 steps everyday plus two 20 minute sessions on my exercise bike. It really makes those relaxing, lazy moments all the more special.
  7. I'm off to CM immigration tomorrow as my under consideration period for my marriage extension is up. I hope they are not going to tie me to a chair and interrogate me before they stamp my passport!
  8. I believe that Phuket has a VFS Global office. I renewed my UK passport office at the VFS office in Chiang Mai earlier this year with no problems apart from the 10 weeks processing time... All you pay for is your new passport plus delivery to Thailand. There should be no reason to use an agent.
  9. Naivety appears to be the problem here. If something sounds to good to be true....then it probably is.
  10. What are their names? Hatari and Sharp?
  11. Are you referring to the younger age groups? Because when I was in my teens, twenty's and most of my thirty's I could have eaten everything you mention by the bucket load and never put on an ounce of weight. They probably have naturally very fast metabolisms.
  12. Same. We are Chiang Mai based and the router showing internet but not receiving any data really confused me! I've never seen that before. The website, call centers and membership app all appear to be down as well. This is clearly a major outrage for 3bb.
  13. I have my own built in alarm clock. It's called my bladder and it wakes me up at pretty much bang on 5:30 every morning. Which is an ideal time to start my exercise routine.
  14. Why does it bother you what others do? Personally I will still wear a mask where it is required and sometimes out of respect for those I'm interacting with.
  15. Hang on. I thought he'd only returned to fill the vacant PM job?
  16. I did my marriage extension at CM about 3 weeks ago with a 2 year old KR 2 (not a KR 22) with no problems what do ever. In fact 2 years ago the immigration officer we dealt with actually gave me back to original stamped copy and told me go and photocopy it and keep the original for the following year.
  17. Perhaps you need to be a good person to truly appreciate what is good about Thailand?
  18. The greatest British chat show host of them all. R.I.P.
  19. No. For the most part I have always found them to be very understanding of my potential ignorance to their cultural ways.
  20. I had mine mailed to me for 60 baht back in June. I would imagine this hasn't changed since then.
  21. Do you mean your phone's personal hotspot? If so, just got to your phone's settings, do a search for hotspot and it should display the phone's username and password under configuration or similar. Obviously you have to turn it on as well.
  22. Some Farangs might encourage their Thai spouse to have a "prolonged absence"
