    visas are never extended, only the permission to stay that the visa gave on entry is extended, look at the wording at the top of a form tm7, '' application for extension of temporary stay in the Kingdom'' no mention of visa extension and at the bottom of tm7 ''I hereby apply for extension period of temporary stay in the Kingdom for ........'' the type of visa that you last entered on is required, but the actual visa expired a long time ago

    why do you need to keep the 400,000thb in the bank, that can be withdrawn at anytime after you getting the extension stamp in your passport you could do a combination method x amount of money in bank and x amount per month transfer with a joint total of 800,000thb

    its not a 'visa' extension its an extension of the permission to stay stamp' which has to be done in the area you are living, have a tm30 for really unhelpful comment.

    both non imm 'O' and 'O''A' Visa entries can be extended by 60 days to visit Thai family, Non imm 'O''A' visa entry can be extended by one year.

    you are not allowed to change passports at a land border ie changing from a USA passport to a UK passport, so maybe its the same with a replacement passport. whereas you can at an airport border
