I'd encourage them to report it in time for DNA evidence, photos of injuries and witness statements to be taken (let's be generous 2 weeks). 25+ years later when they can't even put a firm date on their accusations, not so much. As for defamation, she's a nobody, $500 fine at most. Doesn't really matter as when he's elected President, he'll just pardon himself. And the more he's victimised, the more votes he will get from normal citizens.

Thai baht could depreciate further against US dollar, says K-Research

Agree with you, All the surveys and inflation figures are nothing but government propaganda. They screwed up the world economy with pointless COVID lockdowns, and now they try and lie themselves out of the hole they dug. -
UK Pensions and related info
BritManToo replied to CharlieH's topic in UK & Europe Topics and Events
2023 pension rise 10% = 800 GBP + 500gbp wf total 1300gbp. 2024 pension rise 8% = 800gbp plus 800 from 2023 plus 500gbp wf total 2100gbp. So the increase is certainly worth having, not sure why you need the PI bank though, UK bank +WISE is good enough for disguising your real residence. Mail drop maybe 200 pounds a year, making you a 1900gbp profit in 2024. Easier to just remain apparently living in the UK, use your last UK address, nobody checks you still live there and no proof of life forms. -

In any EOTW scenario the first to fail is the electricity and internet. If the internet goes down, what use your bitcoin? Shelf stable foods, an underground bunker, guns and ammo would be a far better investment than gold or bitcoin IMHO. -
My rabbits can also learn enough English to get by .......... that doesn't make them intelligent!

Why? You weren't starting but changing manufacturer.

Tax on Pensions
BritManToo replied to rogerpattaya's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Best action is always to do nothing until the police come to arrest you, then plead ignorance. Let's face it even if you 'cannot tell a lie', first tax declaration is maybe required in Jan 2025, and then they wouldn't know you were resident until you next extension application (in my case October 2025). I deliberately don't update my bank book except on the day of my VISA extension, so they can't see what money I bring into Thailand, bank book 1 or 2 entries, bank statement 6 months maximum. -

Wish I coul play the piano that badly. I actually prefer his classical playing, he does a decent Ave Maria (Schubert)and in the CCCP clip at 25:25 some other piece. -
We're not in China-Piano Incident

Was more concerned with the Chinese girl muttering 'Don't shoot him' in the background. Suspect the shouty Chinese security man had a gun on him, but the police (of course) never checked. -
For a start we know because she's friends with bar girls. Respectable Thai women don't mix with sex workers.

Norway is also the most expensive country in which to live, so they need to pay more or the pensioners will all die. -
You would think wrong, most car purchases are by companies.

Allegedly most EV sales are on 3 year leases, then they sit in a parking lot until scrapped.
