Why do people on here call Thailand the land of smiles?
BritManToo replied to bignok's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Or they like sex with random guys or they're too lazy to work normal jobs, or they're alcoholics/druggies. Why do some men want to believe it's never the woman's fault? How about your 3 crazy wives? Was that their fault or someone else fault? Or your fault? -

One violent storm will kill the plants. And at the moment it's one storm over another. Indica can't take the direct sun either.

I base any tip on the extra sexual services they provided.

Most of us have pensions that will last until we die. My pension will last until my much younger Thai wife dies. Doesn't matter how long we live, no need to plan. If western pensions were to fail, it's unlikely the western banks or the world as we know it would survive. So still no need to plan, unless your plans include building a hidden fortress, arming it, and filling it with 20 years of supplies. -

Kindle Users – which (country-specific) Amazon site to you use?
BritManToo replied to ReloTH's topic in General Topics
My USB stick is a fraction of the size of a Kindle and 20x the memory. I can carry my entire library with me (5513 books) using Calibre portable. None of which I purchased, and all of which I read on my Kindle. Currently working my way through the 'Repairman Jack' series. -
Santander is closing my UK current account

I think you'll find some government agencies (DWP for one) post to Thailand via a 3rd party in Europe to save money. Online shopping is different. I buy cannabis seeds shipped from the UK via Royal Mail, and they are delivered to my Thai house in 10-14 days. -

Wise and Revolut, can open both online. Use your brothers address to open the accounts, don't tell them your're not living in the UK. A pal of mine opened a Revolut account in the UK last week, using his family home address (his last UK adress) which they left 30+ years back. Revolut have a very nice virtual Debit Card system, where you can make a new virtual card, for payments setting your own limits, or just for 1 purchase. Wise are best for moving money to foreign countries. -

Odd that, because in the past 15 years my spending has broadly remained the same. 600,000bht/year, but in that same time my pension has doubled. -

It was one of the regular TaT slogans. -
You can't imagine how many Thais routinely carry guns when out and about. I've known a few Thai judges/lawyers/police/gangsters, all carrying 24/7. Beware the man bag!

Brand was probably desperate for a wee before his interview, and the silly woman was mucking about in the toilet. -

Sex in the club/pub toilets has been common in the UK since the 1990s. As has women using the mens toilets cubicles while guys are using the urinals. Guess you didn't get out much. -

I have no problem with immigrants as long as they are civilised, peaceful, and hopefully educated. -

Fill your country with uneducated, uncivilised 3rd world immigrants from war torn countries and what do you expect? -
Non - O ME in HCMC and Hanoi: Denied!
BritManToo replied to tomaway's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Letter from wife for multi non-O, required in Saigon, not required in Savannakhet. Back to OP, Hanoi has never been good for Multi non-O Saigon have always wanted a wife letter, but post COVID now want financials showing 400+kbht. Suvannakhet was always and still is the easiest due to a 'please help us get foreign visitors' pact with the Thai government. -

How many of your peers made 84? Only my grandmother and great aunt beat that age, but they were both born in the 1800s. Most of those I know from my generation have not even managed 60! Governments lie ...... statistics are commonly manipulated. But let's say 84 is true ......... and the government is telling the truth, Lets look back at those same statistics, Healthy Life expectancy (HLE) is 60, Disability Free Life expectancy DFLE) is 64. Then ask yourself, do I want to live 20-30 years as an old unhealthy/disabled person? -
