  1. Back in my home town, once the pubs went 'no smoking', they put smoking sheds in the pub gardens and we all smoked cannabis every evening. Rich people all snorted cocaine ............... Even my London company works parties had cannabis and cocaine provided along with the free food and drinks. Don't know what local poop hole you lived in, but it sure wasn't London or New York!
  2. I ate Norfloxacin 400 ......... 1/2 tab every morning and evening until the 10 tabs were used. Then the next month same repeat. Worked for me, but there may be some risks involved.
  3. DHL yesterday, no official ride, came on his scooter with a kid he just picked up from school on the back. Delivery drivers are all over the place!
  4. Dunno, my local government hospital is filled with the latest equipment. Portable X ray machines so you don't need to leave your bed. Physio straps electric pads all over my damaged shoulder. Never seen anywhere in the world with more modern equipment.
  5. Honda manual unlocking, Press and hold the on/seat/lock knob until it bleeps, get your fob number ready ..... press knob once and beep, then enter the number by pressing the knob that many times (0 = no presses), after 10s the bike beeps and you enter the next number. keep going and the bike is unlocked with the locking disabled until you press an hold for another 10s. Takes about 2 minutes in all, you can't hurry it up, around 10s between each number (9 numbers x 10 seconds).
  6. Nope, Honda add fobs to the box in the bike electronically, but the number on the fob is useful as you can use it to unlock the bike without the fob.
  7. Electronic key fob = 1 Metal key = 2 So depends what you got.
  8. Modern eye tests don't use the chart ....... it's peer through an eyepiece and watch the tractor moving across the screen. Results on a printout from the computer.
  9. Presumably the customers knew what they were buying so is it really fraud?
  10. Never, too many foreigners, I only mix with other Brits.
  11. I have varifocals in the post from Zenni at the moment, $63 Inc post. Why buy anywhere else?
  12. Hybrid inverters do everything automatically. Solar if available, then battery, then grid. They will also top up from the grid or battery if your solar isn't producing enough. I've the cheapest 5kw hybrid I could find at 12kbht, works perfectly. Supplies 80% of my needs 24/7, but I did cheat by keeping my cooker, Aircon and 4kw shower heaters on grid supply.
  13. I've just had a fake SanDisk 1tb SSD delivered. They also want a seller to approve the return. Apart from not being SanDisk, it's only really 120gb and fails when full. What's wrong with Lazada, almost all the storage on sale appears fake, along with all the batteries fake. I'm now reduced to buying from the big stores with their own websites.
  14. I would view 'another shag' as a more important expense than health insurance.
  15. If you don't even know your own name, why would it matter where you were or what you were wearing?
  16. My 12 year old son has been in Thai government school, speaks English well but was struggling with Thai. Last year we hired an after school Thai teacher for 3x 1hr sessions a week, not expensive and his Thai has got a lot better. Next term he's changing to a Thai government High school with an English class of 20 students, at 8,500bht/term. The lessons will nearly all be in English.
  17. Marry the friend, have the baby, divorce by mutual consent with her giving you 100% custody. Feel free to send me $2000 for my expert legal advice!
  18. Most young people I know back in the UK barely make enough money to rent a room in a shared house, how do you expect them to save?
  19. Went to KFC today to buy lunch for me and my kid. 2 Zinger burgers @69bht each, no change as I pay by scan.
  20. I'm a real certified teacher retired from teaching high school in the UK. Never taught in any Thai schools .................. but most of the foreign teachers I've encountered in Thailand wouldn't be allowed anywhere near kids in the UK.
  21. It always made me happy!
  22. I only read books written by male native English speakers, and none written by the overtly religious. Publishers often try to disguise books written by women by only using their initials, so those are also to be avoided. No need to use bookshops, Z Library has everything for free.
  23. How do you find 'good quality fiction'? These days everything written seems to be low quality, factually incorrect and full of errors. I'm still in my son's life, he's 12 and I'm near enough your age.
  24. Reading novels tops my list, currently working through on the 'Jack Reacher' series ....... about 20 books .... 10 own. The rest of my time I just waste watching movies and listening to music. Been retired for nearly 25 years, still happy enough.
  25. LTRs are hard for all men, as women are never satisfied. Short Time is much easier for the rich and famous, but they face accusations later. You're confusing the two!
