  1. I have this one, worked perfectly for 6 months so far, 12,500bht. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/anern-35kw55kw-pure-sine-wave-solar-inverter-100a-mppt-hybrid-inverter-24v48v-500vdc-pv-input-220vac-240vac-converter-hybrid-off-grid-inverter-i3854368933-s14717301912.html?
  2. You understand wrong. Lazada chooses the delivery company, not the seller.
  3. Because it isn't marked 'shipped' in the Lazada app.
  4. If it isn't 'shipped' in the Lazada platform, why would you accept delivery?
  5. I thought that was you? (the constantly offended)
  6. Lazada chooses the delivery company. The seller has no choice in whom to use.
  7. Get your gf to make the booking! No gf, go to a bar and get one of the ladies there to book for you.
  8. Seems a little unfair as he hasn't been convicted of anything. If I were him I'd write a book slamming the Royal family, seems to be quite profitable.
  9. ONE, Ordered a black bicycle front bag, and a pink one was delivered. Returned and refunded.
  10. Too woke for me, ep6 threw in the deaf/mute black kid (although he seemed to forget he was mute when running away from the zombies). Acting very poor throughout.
  11. I bought Atora on Lazada, I think it was from Food Variety.
  12. You could always make your own ..... Makro sell dried white beans, 49bht for 500gm. https://www.recipetineats.com/homemade-baked-beans-recipe-heinz/
  13. Vet was incompetent, Ivermectin injections work 100%, but are too cheap (100bht) for most vets to use. I'd suggest using a different vet, one that puts animal health before profits. Ivermectin stays in the blood and poisons all insects that suck blood (seen or unseen). 2-3 injections protects the animal from recurrence for up to a year.
  14. I always assume Thailand couldn't find it's own bum using both hands and a mirror. But I'm probably wrong. One of my pals was a heroin/gold smuggler in the 1990s. Got caught and spent a year in the Bangkok Hilton. Deported back to the UK where he got a new passport, then flew right back here.
  15. My experiences match those of @KhunLA. Everything I bought from 'sponsored' ads of Facebook in Thailand was a scam. So I now just ignore them.
  16. You're completely right as always.
  17. Even 2nd rate actors know how to run the world better than their elected government. Not sure anyone would class him as a 'Hollywood A-lister' though.
  18. Unless you bribe the government officials not to check. And with a 'new' car it will be 5+ years before anyone looks again.
  19. They buy metal detectors that don't detect, submarines without engines, aircraft carriers without aircraft. And yet, you expect them to have fingerprint computers better than the FBI and the London Met.
  20. So they should be cheaper than the UK price if they come from China.
  21. Total rubbish. The FBI and the London Met take at least 2hrs for a fingerprint search using the latest technology if the search is their No.1 priority (normal non-urgent search results are 2-3 days). Yet you believe the Thai Immigration services using a pirate version of windows 3.1 on an old PC can do it in seconds.
  22. 38 fits a revolver, 9mm fits a semi-auto. Different shell casings.
  23. It's very easy to make friends with western foreigners here. Join a hiking or cycling club. Sit in an expat bar, play pool. I've made some really great friends here in Chiang Mai.
  24. I always buy the cheapest paracetamol I can find, it's medicine same as cannabis. 30bht/100 is good enough. I don't need real ale either, Leo with some ice is good enough. Nor expensive wines, Full Moon dark wine cooler (25bht) does the same job
  25. 5.50 GBP (225bht) retail for a Heinz baked bean six pack in ASDA. Vs 480bht (for the same six pack in Thailand). So not quite sure what you mean in your post. Normally shipping across the world doesn't mean a 100% markup.
