In Thailand on Lazada/Shopee they are delivery people as simple as that. Nothing to do with the company. If you refuse to accept the order you are sçamming the delivery guy and he probably will be out of pocket. There is a returns process use it in future.

I've lived here 16+ years now and I can honestly state that this one instance isn't "destroying the image of Phuket taxis" I can honestly say I have never had a problem with a taxi driver. Most of them just sit there and say nothing. If they want to chat its fine. Some foreigners are just rude to the drivers and then complain when they get a reaction.

I am married to a Thai lady but I prefer to be on an extension of stay based on Retirement. It matters not if you are married as long as you are over 50 and satisfy the requirements. Retiremement in my opinion is less hassle.
