  1. Yes I guessed that just having a laugh lol
  2. Do you really mean what you posted? Lol.
  3. My comment obviously went straight over your head lol
  4. No you can only drive and own a car in Thailand if you have a work permit. Ask a silly question and get a silly answer.
  5. Interpret what I wrote however you want. I shall clarify my words. The platform has a guarantee that is nothing to do with the seller. This is in addition to any guarantee offered by the seller. I thought that was clear. But as you are obviously a pedantic individual I should have made it clearer.
  6. Calm down pal. If you ordered from Lazada they have a guarantee, nothing to do with the seller. You got a warning from the platform for not accepting a delivery and quite right too. How do you know he didnt get any hassle and loose out, just because he still delivers proves nothing. You posted on a public forum so its up to me if I comment or not. The problem with people like you is that you try and apply western standards and processes when they don't apply in Thailand.
  7. In Thailand on Lazada/Shopee they are delivery people as simple as that. Nothing to do with the company. If you refuse to accept the order you are sçamming the delivery guy and he probably will be out of pocket. There is a returns process use it in future.
  8. Whats sleazy about Pattaya?
  9. I've lived here 16+ years now and I can honestly state that this one instance isn't "destroying the image of Phuket taxis" I can honestly say I have never had a problem with a taxi driver. Most of them just sit there and say nothing. If they want to chat its fine. Some foreigners are just rude to the drivers and then complain when they get a reaction.

    Go Wholesale

I went there this morning. Some excellent special offers at the moment. Its clear to see the quality of the food on offer is far superior to Makro and the price is cheaper. I shall be a regular if things don't change.

    Go Wholesale

If anyone is interested. Go Wholesale by Central group will be opening a major store on the site of the old Baan & Beyond in South Pattaya next to Big C, this week. It is similar to the Makro stores
  14. Are you on the whisky mate. I quoted another poster. I dont know why you are replying to me giving your 10 pence worth. As for being a troll you along with 2 or 3 others are the worse on Asean Now with your continual banal topics.
  15. So basically you are a cheap charlie who scams the girls into expecting payment and do a runner. All the girls in Thailand expect payment not just the working girls.
  16. You are in the wrong country if you just want a normal relationship. It will be near nai impossible to find a girl who does not want paying. Every girl unless she comes from a rich family will want you to take care of her financially. This is not just bar girls. The girls who are here are in the main from a village somewhere and work here to support their family. Good luck with finding someone where money is not involved.
  17. A few years ago I arranged to meet a friend of mine in John's bar. He was nowhere to be seen. I went to the bar and asked the bar service girl if anyone had seen my friend Michael Hunt. She said she hadn't but would ask the customers. She shouted out " Has anyone seen Mike Hunt. Apparently many people put their hand up.
  18. If you love cycling the Silverlake area with wide empty new roads is perfect for you. Only problem would be finding cheap accomodation.
  19. I have not got a clue what you are talking about I am not the OP just trying to help him. In any case to apply for a 60 day e visa is done in ones own country and ran by the dept in that country. Never seen a drop down mentioning what you quoted.
  20. Its probably still there but has been processed and has a different status. Dont forget to check yout SPAM email folder. The evisa sometimes ends up in there.
  21. Agreed its cheaper but like myself, he was probably upgraded to Atorvastatin. I have to take 80mg daily a large dose which gets very expensive in Thailand. Luckily I go back to the UK every year for 4 months and I bring back a stock with me. I also order my medication monthly in the UK whilst I am here and have it delivred to my next door neighbour.
  22. I am married to a Thai lady but I prefer to be on an extension of stay based on Retirement. It matters not if you are married as long as you are over 50 and satisfy the requirements. Retiremement in my opinion is less hassle.
  23. AXA and LUMA have very affordable travel coverage I suggest you check them out. Well under the $1600 you were quoted.
  24. Same same but different as I have heard many times over here.
  25. Agree with you. However I assume by this comment by the poster that his friend is permanently resident in Thailand and not in a situation similar to you. His frivolous comment was just an attempt to disrupt the thread.
