  1. Whats the point in this post? Like most of your others are you compteting with the 2 other brainless morons?
  2. Why did you bother? Are you bored?
  3. Go back to sleep then. I wake up 5 or more times a night. If I got up every time I wake up I would never get any sleep.
  4. Why not just call them Queers or Queens
  5. No it really is horrible. An a different subject I tried the Lager beer tonight which was ok, not a patch on Federbrau though, also tried the dark beer which was no to my taste. I will stick to Federbrau at home then and San Mig light when I go out, not many bars sell Federbrau, which is a shame.
  6. I live in Thailand 8 months a year.
  7. The guy here at Motion Wellness has a good reputation https://maps.app.goo.gl/WPJ9ZfXeyv2kiGfX8
  8. I will see if I can buy a bottle of the Lager beer when I go shopping tomorrow. However it will have to be good to beat Feberbrau which is by far the best beer brewed in Thailand. A suberb lager beer.
  9. That may be what they say but in practice no. I exited Thailand in May with a Retirement extension and re entry permit. Presented the form, passport and the product to the desk at BKK (Far right in entrance hall) and they stamped the form. Once airside went to the VAT refund desk and was paid out in full.
  10. I dont care what American's call them, they are called crisps. Chips are fried and are served with fish or pirs etc. Whilst we are on the subject, Pants are mens underwhere not trousers and todays date 07/11/23 not 11/07/23
  11. Yes thats the point I was making, your post implied that those who are married but on a Retirement extension could not return at the same time as those on a marriage extension. Which is of course incorrect.
  12. As said a missunderstanding on their part. I also think your a bit paronoid about them wanting a bribe.
  13. That is not correct. When the restictions were in place I returned on a retirement extension with proog of marriage. Yet again your posts are incorrect.
  14. Thats not exactly correct. If you had a retirement extension but were married you had the same right to enter Thailand as someone on a marriage extension.
  15. I am afraid that as well meaning as you are, you are very naive about how this works. @Tod Danielshas given you the answer tight at the start of the thread. There are no lawyers who will be able to help and no large brown envelopes. Your so called friend has and is acting like a child. He needs to man up and take his ban by leaving via the airport immediately. Then after his ban is served and he grows up a bit, maybe he can come back.
  16. Having seen your naive posts over the years I am sure you are referring to yourself pal.
  17. Not the case in Pattaya. Last April my wife's Thai friend came to visit for a few weeks from Sweden. She wanted to rent a motorbike whilst she was here. My wife drove here around all afternoon without success. No Thai only Farang was the standard reply.
  18. Come on guys. A yellow book and a pink card have absolutely no benefits. Why people go to the trouble of getting, I have no idea.
  19. So you had a wasted morning, what else did you expect? In and out in 5 mins? My last visit to Jomtien was a few weeks ago. I turned up at 09.45 to get my extension stamp transferred to my new passport. I was out of there by 10.00. Picked up my passport the next day. Easy
  20. No chance mate, makes me wonder where you have been drinking. £7 for 2 pints more like it. Yes Wetherspoons are cheap but other places only a little bit more. When I waa in London in September I didnt pay nothing like £7.50 a pint.
  21. Granted I have never done a 30 day extension but its standard at Jomtien for a retirement extension. As an aside I always wonder why people go to immigration so early in the day. You gain absolutely nothing as many other people have the same idea. I have always gone about 09.30 no queues minimal waiting same deal, come back later to collect.
  22. Where did you go to drink that? The Ritz? I struggle to think of anywhere in the UK where you would have to pay £15 for a beer and a shandy. In a Wetherspoons it would be about £6 or £7, even in an expensive pub, no more than £12. Maybe you went to an exclusive club like Claridges.
  23. This is nonsense. I am assuming the guy is over 50. Just pay an agent and change from a marriage to a retirement extension. The agent will take care of the funds in the bank. Much cheaper than going home where an uncertain future awaits.
