An agent will do it for 1,500 all in, if you dont want the hassle of going there.

US English teacher arrested for sexual relation with 16 y/o student
jimn replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Total BS. I met my Thai wife when she was 19 now 31, there was no suggestion that this was illegal. -
You will always get buffering via a firestick unless the wifi is of excellent quality. I have Wizz TV but I run it via an Android box and an ethernet cable. Its perfect no buffering at all.

How to meet genius girls in Thailand
jimn replied to GammaGlobulin's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Sounds like you have been on the wacky backy. -
Non o multi London, wrong name.
jimn replied to kelboy's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I understand that. I dont think his ability to spell is flawed, its his attention to detail. Most people check thier spelling before they post, especially if using a mobile. I personally make many errors, but correct them when I proof read before posting. I suspect this gentleman simply made an error and misspelt his own name. -

Considering the spelling mistake in your post I suspect it was your mistake. -
Do you mean for gym membership? Direct debit does exist for water, electric bills etc.

Would you ever marry a bar girl? If so, why?
jimn replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I would never ever marry a bar girl. I would however marry a gogo girl. In fact I did in 2014 after being with her since 2011. We are still very happily married in 2023. We split our time between the UK and Thailand, my family love her. We have loads in common despite the age difference. Me 67 and her 31. -
If thats your idea of a joke I pity you. The ones who laughed did so out of pity for you.

You are so naive. This is normal in India. I was lucky enough to go to India many times on business. A wonderful country with welcoming people. Granted I was lucky to stay in top class hotels. The poverty is in your face and far far worse than Thailand.

Extension of stay - exit country
jimn replied to hank69's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Yes based on the information you provided your plan is sound to get a Non O and then convert to an extension based on Retirement once you are 50. Alternatively you could enter visa exempt and convert to obtain the Non O and extension in Thailand. -
Passport expiring in less then 12 months
jimn replied to looplaw's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I had just the same issue as you. Passport expiry April 25, extension of stay expiry May 24. I realised next renewal I would only get 11 months. That did not fit with my schedule of split time in UK/Thailand. I decided as I am here in the UK at this time to get a new passport even though I had 22 months left. All done online, passport back in 3 weeks. -
Dont compicate things Air Con for heavens sake

Quite simply it doesnt exist. It was phased out years ago. A private pension yes, state pension no.

You dont need Eric for IPTV. Its so easy to do yourself. The best provider by far is Wizz TV. Just google them, they are well established. Just order the package you want and follow the instructions they send you. I have a yearly package for a single connection with VPN for 3,100 baht or £73. I bought separately an Android box. You just download Wizz TV to it, its only an app and away you go. All Sports channels across the world, 100's of movies and 100's of on demand content. 1,000's to choose from. I brought my Andriod box back to the UK with me as I am here for a few months and it works perfect over here as well. Works best when diectly connected via an ethernet cable but works fine on a strong wifi via a firestick. There is a lot of fear around installing IPTV yourself thats why people like Eric are making a business of doing it for you. It is very easy as long as you follow the instructions.

Dont need PR. If you are married to a Thai, you can use the manual Thai lanes. Simple as that.
