  1. Amazing how this article somehow manages to link Trump and Musk with recent events in North Carolina. Ridiculous.
  2. Know this road well. Not a regular accident spot. As reported the truck driver was at fault, but that is based on limited info. A very sad case.
  3. After more than 40 years I am fortunate not to have ever had problems with plumbing work done on three houses in Thailand.
  4. Hopefully the police now have the number plate details. Should be easy to track down the owner/driver unless, of course, the vehicle was stolen.
  5. I also often use my pink card, which I have had for a long time, likewise my yellow book. The pink card is widely accepted for identification purposes, the yellow book likewise. Personally I am pleased I have both. They are well worth the minimal effort required to obtain them.
  6. Nothing remarkable here. Move on..
  7. If she'd tried this in Singapore she'd be in big trouble. She'd likely get off free in the UK . In Thailand she will likely face deportation but no other penalty so long as she pays the store and compensates the police.
  8. This doesn't sound at all like a reaction to cannabis. More likely a combination of alcohol, prescription drugs and jet lag. Pure cannabis consumption would calm her down, and would not result in any form of aggression.
  9. Pay up. walk out, and don't go back again.
  10. It's legal. It only refers to foreigners, no specific race or religion.
  11. I guess this answers the question I put to you earlier to which you didn't reply. Thanks anyway.
  12. So is the reinterpretation being applied/effected or, if not. when will it be applied/effected ?
  13. Checking with my bookmakers there does appear to be a swing in favour of Trump for now, but no indication of whether or not it will last.
  14. She appears to try to, but not very well.
  15. I should be grateful if someone who is well-informed on this subject could indicate whether or not this new legislation has been ratified or. if not, when it will be ratified.
  16. First arrived in Thailand in 1962 aged 21, and with little experience of intimacy with women. Left after a month, a changed young man. Was I a 'sexpat' ? I was an expatriate who had sex in Thailand so I suppose I was depending, that is, on how 'sexpat' is defined. It appears to be a term of abuse invented by the gutter press in the UK. It bothers me, given that I live in Thailand and I have been happily married to a Thai lady for 40 years, but not that much.
  17. That's better.
  18. In the 1950s and 1960s Thai governments distanced themselves from communist China. Now they are selling out to Beijing. Sad, to say the least.
