  1. Too late for Brits to fret about this. We voted him in, for the next 4/5 years, with a huge majority.
  2. I practise standing on one leg and then the other as part of a daily exercise routine. At 82 years old I find it helps my ability to balance generally.
  3. Because I would guess, as a Brit, that decent Americans feel that Trump's first tenure was no worse than most previous Presidents, and better than m.any.
  4. I really don't need you to try to tell me how bookmakers work, but thank you for your interest.
  5. The natural habitat of wild elephants is being taken over by people.
  6. As a Brit I don't have a direct interest in the US election however it is clear in talking to stockbrokers and bookmakers that they are expecting an easy win for Trump. They're worth listening to because they lose money if they get things wrong. Feeling is not many voters are interested in anything Kelly has to say.
  7. Michelle wearing trousers on this occasion although she still looks good in a skirt.
  8. Well said. I entirely agree.
  9. Strange comment. Apparently you know me better than I know myself. Remind me when and where we met.
  10. So. as I said, go somewhere else.
  11. The way elections are run in the US leads to suspicions all round.
  12. All people, not only white people, smell bad if they don't, or can't, shower properly at least once a day.
  13. Vitamin B12 can, in some cases. help with addiction to the likes of Tramadol. Worth a try. It is available in capsule form from most top pharmacists in Thailand.
  14. My best friend, for over 30 years until he sadly died from cancer aged 53, was smarter than me in most ways, but less practical. He was Jewish, I am Anglo-saxon (so I'm told).
  15. Yes indeed. At 83, and so far in good health, I've told my Thai family not to take me to hospital if, and/or when, I become fatally ill or simply dying from old age. Just make me as comfortable as possible at home until I expire.
  16. I am 83, my Thai wife is 70. We have been happily together since 1983, married in 1990. I know many other 'old sods', as you choose to call us, who are equally happily married.
  17. I fear you may be missing the point.
  18. Don't be too sad. There are smart-assed, good for nothing media people all over the place, not only in America.
  19. No direct experience but I'm told a cork from a champagne bottle can help.
  20. Bye, bye...
  21. The record is not that good. The assassination, or attempted assassination, of a President is nothing to be proud of.
  22. My goodness, we have an aspiring comedian in our midst....
