    I've twice been nearly hit crossing on zebras. I NEVER use them now, you just don't know if anyone will stop.

    You are very brave to even think about cycling in Thailand. It's dangerous enough on a motorbike. Reminds me of the sad story about a couple who decided to cycle around the world. They had almost finished their tour and were cycling the last leg in Thailand. You can guess the rest, killed on the road.

    No great loss, i can't see the games anyway on Thai TV. Most of the games from now are on at 2-4 am so forget that.

    The whole of Thepprasit is a nightmare full of deep holes, raised manhole covers, diversions and destroyed pavements.

    I never understood the American system where you can have a President and House from different political parties. Isn't that a recipe for confusion and misgovernment?

    Some Thai drivers are the lowest scum. Kill an old woman and not even stop to check if she is OK.

    No it's not, virtually every currency has fallen against the baht over recent weeks, the Pound, Euro, Aussie Dollar, even the Rupee.
