  1. There is some keto bread on lazada. I have not tried it yet. I have an order coming in a couple days.
  2. Don't eat salt either. It is made from 2 poisonous products, sodium and chlorine. Ironically you need salt to function properly.
  3. Step off before the belt ends. Don't let the belt push you off.
  4. We let a close friend borrow 1 million baht for their wedding plus a chanote for one of our properties. They returned everything the day after the wedding. It's all about show.
  5. I never assume that just because the light turned green it is safe to proceed. The only days I don't see red lights being run are the days I stay home all day. That truck driver beside her must have seen the car coming because he didn't budge until after the accident.
  6. Theoretically they could win enough votes to get the PM seat. If that did happen though something would be done to stop it. It would be very difficult to get that many votes though. First you have to overcome the senate votes. And then they have 40 or so parties running to dilute the votes.
  7. If you move to Thailand full time with no US address you will have to let the social security unit at the US embassy in Manila know about it. You can get your SS payments sent directly to a Thai bank. Also there is a form they are supposed to mail to you every year if you live overseas. You are required to fill it out and mail it back otherwise your payments will be stopped. Sort of a proof of life thing I guess. Here is a page where you can ask questions: https://ph.usembassy.gov/services/fbu-inquiry-form/ (one of the drop down items is 'change of bank') General information page: https://ph.usembassy.gov/services/social-security/
  8. There is no hell in true buddhism. Or perhaps you could say this existence is hell. One of the main tenants of buddhism is "life is suffering". The main goal is too stop being reborn and become one with the universe, in other words lose your identity as an individual.
  9. If you want to be a millionaire go to Loas and exchange a couple thousand baht.
  10. You don't need to be handsome if you have enough money.
  11. But will they stop trucks from being overloaded? Not only should they be fined when overloaded but they should stop the truck and have the company come out and remove the overload before allowing the truck to leave again.
  12. Her husband is a senator appointed after the coup. Her father is an ex parliment member.
  13. Also if you have Thai bank accounts you will need to go in with your passports and have them change to the new passport number.
  14. I've had really bad tinnitus for decades now. They never have been able to do anything to help it. Too many concerts I guess. There must be tons of Thais with it judging how they love to blare distorted music for kilometers at wats and festivals.
  15. It is very difficult to eat out in Thailand without getting some sugar. Thai's love sweet stuff. I have cut way back on eating rice, bread, potatoes, sugar, etc.. (also do intermittent fasting). I wouldn't say I am on a strict Keto diet. Before I was taking 1000Mg of metformim a day and my A1C was around 6.2 to 6.5. After a couple of months on the new diet and stopping all my medications my A1C is now 5.4.
  16. I mistakenly bought a whole house RO system. I used it for less than a month. To fill one tank of water you had to throw about 7 tanks of water down the drain.
  17. My Wife does LOL. My wife too. Way more than I would. But she lived in America for over 40 years too.
  18. He did post in the Chiang Mai forum though.
  19. I put some of the bird spikes on top of the beams in my carport. The birds do make nests in them. I need to put a ceiling on it to keep the birds from nesting/pooping over the cars.
  20. It seems they can't even afford a 10 baht bulb for their rear lights let alone a helmet.
