El Gaucho also has a restaurant in Phuket. I've never eaten there... I'm sure the quality is good, but preparation and cooking have a whole lot to do with the steak, too. @RowdymanYes, it is available in Thailand as Chotalin 25 mg. My pharmacist informed me; however, he does not stock it. I guess you'll have to try some of the other suggestions, but at least I can confirm it's available.

They are 'now'. But I remember a time (more than a few) back in 2006-2012+/- when 'they' were not so nice. (Although I was not applying for Marriage or Retirement extensions). It was particularly one time before 2010, after visiting there that my wife turned to me and informed me she would NEVER go back there again. (They had for a number of years a particularly unfriendly person who received all the applicants paperwork, shuffled through it and gave you your 'number'. She was never pleasant)

I asked the same question within the last year (or so) and was advised by Ubonjoe (may he RIP) that I should go to Ban Laem-Kamrieng crossing. It adds a few extra KMs to the journey, but I had no problems there. I found it much cheaper and safer to fly to KL on AirAsia, which is what I did the next 'hop'.

@2liveandthai2050 It's a pity that you are incapacitated. I would tell you to get on a plane out and back in before the Visa expires so that you could get another 90 days and then extend that permit to stay for another 60 days. (get 240 days out of one 90 day Visa).

The Bible strongly suggests Joseph was a fairly young man. - In an effort to support their belief that Mary remained a virgin after Jesus’ birth because Joseph was too old to have relations with her. After Jesus was born Mary and Joseph had at least 6 more children.* 2. After Jesus was born Herod tried to have him killed so an angel warned Joseph to take the child and his mother down into Egypt, a long journey on foot and later back again, a trip requiring considerable strength for a man to make. 3. Joseph taught Jesus the skill of carpentry which was done by hand requiring considerable strength. 4. Israelite males were required to travel to Jerusalem three time a year and the scriptures show Joseph was strong enough to make that trip when Jesus was 12 years old. The trip would have required walking for perhaps 4 days up from Nazareth to Jerusalem, 91 miles climbing around 1400 ft. in elevation.

It's a stupid idea. It may work fine for a few months, but if I was still traveling, I'd just buy my duty free goods in the departing airport rather than in Thailand.
