  1. The wife gets half. End of story.
  2. No... It seems like a good idea, but it's just cancelling free speech. I don't like bad speech whether it be disparaging toward sex (one way or another), sexual identity, race or any other ..... Wait a minute, if you're playing rugby and the other team is made up of a bunch of w__ankers and _u__ys, is it bigotry to just call them like they are... ????????
  3. Then, ignore my comment above... I was talking about the rest of the world, not the police country of Australia where they bang up teenagers for having a beer at the beech with +$1,000 fines and drag pregnant women from their homes for trying to organize a protest. Yep, their customs and security folk can be pretty unreasonable.
  4. Now a days... You'll not have a problem other than the fact that you'll always get that extra bit of inspection after walking through the metal detector and if the guy in front wore his shoe and you followed suit, you'll be required to remove them and go through a second time. I have 2 hip replacements (2008 & 2018) and 1 knee (2007). I used to travel every month in or out. You tell them the situation, they won't care and will just 'wand you' after the metal detector. It takes 1 minute longer to go thru security. (maybe 2). (Sometimes the metal detector doesn't go off. SIngapore was the best) You don't need any letters or certificates. It's not complicated.
  5. Yes, it can easily take 2 weeks. They're government employees on both ends and have no incentive to 'get things done'. I sent a letter by EMS, to a Western country, which took 7 (or was it ???? days to arrive. Next time I needed to send something asap, which was a couple of weeks later, I sent it by DHL (3 days), and was floored when I discovered it was cheaper than EMS. I quit send letters by registered mail 2 years ago when I sent out a bunch (8 letters) on the same day. Half of them I sent registered. Some of the unregistered letters arrived before the registered ones.
  6. I hope everything goes your way on the process and Thai bureaucracy decisions (best of luck just doesn't cover my wish for your endeavor). Personally, I just couldn't see doing it (but I only worked 3-1/2 years and that was 20 years ago)...
  7. You are going to the wrong pharmacy... I've bought Visine here in Bangkok many times at different pharmacies. Some have it, some don't. (I also like Optrex's "Eye Lotion"). I typically buy the Visine-A (for allergy).
  8. Is it a Baht surge or because the Europe and Western world are spendin money like it's growing on trees? I think the Baht 'strengthen' this week because the vote was coming up on Wednesday/Thursday, but since it went badly the Baht has been losing some of its luster. Look out next week. I think the Baht will gain again with PT taking power and Srettha heads up the new Gov. (IMHO)
  9. Thanks, Skipalongcassidy... The Uncle may be guilty, but I'm not in the world of believe all women. All you other posters should quail your convictions and punishments. I'm not saying he's not guilty, but him due process. You didn't read the article correctly. She came to their house with the excuse to play with their son and to USE his telephone to call her boyfriend. There is now the accusation or introduction of a third party here. She has a boyfriend... maybe. I hope that when the baby's born and or aborted and the DNA test is conducted that we'll see a follow up of this story with the DNA evidence.
  10. I'm the youngest of 5 men (boys once for a number of years). We all have the same nose and eyes, but I'm the only one who really looks like Dad. Scary sometimes... when I look in the mirror.
  11. Great sounds and songs from 1975. I remember them all.
  12. I agree with you on this assessment. There are a lot of stupid foreigners who judge the whole Thai population based on the people they meet in the Thai sex bar business.
  13. I've got hats and t-shirts with that 'label', too.
  14. Everything... almost. (and that's the one with a ring on her finger)
  15. You are correct, EXCEPT, he's a British passport holder and does not qualify for a Visa on Arrival, which I am going to infer that you're thinking VOE (Visa on Entry) is the what the 'poster' is saying. When the British passport holder enters he is given a Visa Exempt stamp, which is a 'permit to stay' of 30 days.
  16. So far, so good... I'm using an anitech keyboard, which I bought at HomePro. (only used for 2 months now). Good luck. My logitech system went goofy after about 2 years.
  17. I suggest you go to UOB Kay Hian Securities Thailand PCL. They're located in the Sindhorn Tower Building - Office / Office 130-132 Wireless Road, Lumpini Subdistrict , Pathum Wan District, Bangkok. I think that's across the street from the US Embassy. UOB Kay Hian Securities (Thailand) Public Company Limited operates a securities business. The Company is licensed to conduct securities brokerage, securities trading, investment advisory, and securities underwriting in many stock exchanges worldwide. UOB Kay is also licensed to provide financial advisory and unit trusts agency. I wish I'd known about them in 1998, but didn't until 2010. It's very easy to set up an account.
  18. Don't buy the MSM and Democrat's trash and dung.
  19. WONDERFULLLL. That's your opinion. They go and get their basket weaving, sociology degrees, decide boys can be girls and gilrs can be boys. NO! NO! No! The budget is in the hands of CONGRESS not a President who thinks he can play CHAIRMAN. (and buy votes)
  20. Has NOTHING to do with the working class and everything to do with the 'elite' college people who don't want to pay for their loans. It was a complete buy out and pay off for votes.
  21. No, I see zero cause to eat this type of processed food (unless that's all there was to eat). I wouldn't be surprised if it takes more energy to 'grow' this lab stuff than to raise it on a farm.
  22. You're entitled to your opinion, but IMO I agree the children and teacher should learn to recognise the snake. That doesn't mean they should be careless. Even non-venomous snakes can have a nasty bite. Leave the handling to the professionals with the proper equipment.
