  1. I believe that ship has sailed. I think Mary Jane is here to stay. (I'm really glad for the CBD even though it didn't seem to help me).
  2. You're #1, @Sheryl. Great advise (for all of us).
  3. Good luck on your Visa Exempt run. IMO "Border Bounces" are for people who have a Visa but must leave every 90 days. You appear to know the rules, but here's a statement from 'thaiembassy.com', "If entering Thailand by land or sea, eligible travelers holding normal passports will be granted visa-free travel to Thailand twice per calendar year. There is no limitation when entering by air". Something to consider and Airasia to Singapore is not expensive (or wasn't a couple of months ago). Happy Trails to You
  4. This is absolutely despicable behavior. I don't care who they support. To threaten a judge and to also threaten his family pisses me off. I hope they're found and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
  5. Actually it is a Visa Exempt permission to stay. Quit quibbling with the person. @BillStrangeOgre the 30 day extension from immigration (from my experience) is usually not a problem. Your problems will come at the border or airport with multiple entries. Staying out for the 30 days was to you advantage. Good luck in you travels. @DrJack54or @ubonjoeare you best sources for info, and maybe @BritTim
  6. Actually, they do want him to run. They are counting on the 75,000,000 who backed him in 2020 to rally around him as the persecuted. Then they're counting on the 81,000,000 that got counted for P.J Biden to do it again.
  7. He 'governs' Bangkok. He has a lot of say, but he is not a ruler nor does he make the law. I don't live 'in' BKK, but I saw that article. Didn't make any sense to me.
  8. You don't know my wife then. She does let me run one in my 'office', but she does not run any A/C where she is in the house. I keep the thermo at 26-27 (25 at night) and she uses 3 blankets. (of course this time of year the A/C compressor runs full time even when on 27, except for when it 'cycles').
  9. Mostly likely. (and the pardon is waiting)
  10. I tried it and have never wanted a Mac since. (I must admit when Windows 7 was first introduced I thought about it). I don't think like a MAC.
  11. Mostly likely a cargo ship of some kind dumped it's bilge and that's what's made it to Samui. *** *** just saw Tropicalevo post. He is more likely correct. He researched it. I made a conjecture.
  12. Well, stated. And they can claim political crime all they want, but some were blatant money or land grabs.
  13. Well, spidermike, I agree, but you and I have lived here long enough to remember that the brag was Thailand was already wearing mask because of the pollution. (I still wear them in Big C and the pharmacy so 'they' won't call me a dirty farang). ????????
  14. @LuckyG I think you are inquiring about something similar to this. A judge in Buriram established a precedent in 2020 in which a common law marriage is recognised in Thailand and have the full rights of marriage. I think that sort of fits into the "Life Partner" definition that you're looking to discuss. https://scandasia.com/danish-man-wins-lawsuit-against-thai-wife-for-not-sharing-assets/ It says Thai wife in the title, but there had been no ceremony nor registration at the Amphur (Ampoe).
  15. Thanks for the nice report.
  16. Wow, the people in the UK have to "register" where they live...
  17. I guess you answered your own question.
  18. Count your many blessings... You're not married to any of them.
  19. It's been many years since I've purchased any, but Maneeya Drug Center in the Maneeya Center Building off the Chit Lom skytrain station stocked it at that time. Call and ask, 089 887 7707
  20. Bah humbug. It's all boring to me.
  21. I agree with you, but in a different US state. And we even speak English there.
