    I would sell out here and buy a place in the US if I went back. I already pay taxes in the US, and since I retired, it's almost nothing.

    I had an onion, jalapeno, Emmental and leftover Bon Chon omelet, with a couple slices of grilled garlic cheese toast. Did not think to take a photo. It's nice to see the markets starting (from what I can tell) to carry fresh jalapenos...

    Except for what my boy's education costs, I think I could live as cheap in the US as I do here, and I could do a little consulting as well if I wanted to.

    I think Emirates has their own terminal, so if you change airlines, I think you'd have to change terminals. Checking in, Immigration, and customs are all much, much better in the Emirates terminal.

    I have my wife's hand-me-down iPhone13 pro-max, it will be 4 years old in December, and the battery is still at 84% max capacity, and it lasts all day. I guess I'll get her 15 this Christmas if the 17 comes out in September...
