If you wish to exit and reenter Thailand you need to obtain reentry permit. You can do that at your immigration office or airport upon departure. That permit will have expiry Feb 13/2025.

No. To apply for the Non O with the 400k in your bank on day of application. That process is outlined in link I posted earlier. The fact that you have a Thai bank account in your name only makes it easy process in your situation . As for time constraint you can obtain a 60 day extension "to visit wife" from your visa exempt entry. The option of obtaining the Non O in country also good option.

You have an option of entering Thailand visa exempt exempt and obtaining non O based on marriage at immigration in Thailand. Assume that you have a Thai bank account in your name only. You keep referring WISE ACCOUNT. There is no reason to use Wise in your wife's name. Suggest you transfer the funds from your account (in ho.e country) to WISE who then transfer to your bank account. All online takes minutes.

WISE account? You reguster few basic details and away you go. Best to use WISE to transfer to your own Thai bank account. Make sure that you while in home country you discuss with your bank things such as daily transfer limits. Obviously you require online banking for your home country bank

OP, just hand pp to io . Be aware of your expiry date of your reentry permit. As you walk away having been handed back the passport pause and check that the io stamped correct "admitted till date"

Actually from a Tourist Visa or visa exempt opening a Thai bank account is now difficult. If you obtain a single entry non o outside of Thailand then the Non O would help. For the single entry non O foreign account will be sufficient. However.that visa provides a 90 day permission of stay. You can obtain a 12 month extension however that requires 400k in Thai bank account and seasoned for 2 months. You will receive better advice if you outline your plan moving forward. Meaning how long you plan to live in Thailand year to year. For extensions the funds do not need to remain in bank. After extension is approved you can withdraw funds as you wish. Why is 400k an issue when you can use those funds. Different for retirement. Re the Thai bank account you could consider an agent. Which immigration office do you deal with. Once married you could obtain 60 day extension to visit wife. How old are you. 50+ ...? Asking for other options.
