Re-entry permit form for non-O visa

OP, which airport are you departing from? Reentry permit is 1000baht single and 3800 multiple.. The TM8 form requires a photo. -
First time Applicant for Retirement Visa
DrJack54 replied to Rovering's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The op obtained a 30 day extension which allowed stay till Jan 19. Why did he require extension? Given current visa exempt provided 45 day stamp. visa exempt entry would have been plenty of time to obtain a non O. Yes requires 15 days remaining on permission of stay and some offices (CM 21 days) . Poor planning -
First time Applicant for Retirement Visa

Correct.. Clearly he didn't show much forward planning. 45 days visa exempt entry and now thinks about non O retirement. -
First time Applicant for Retirement Visa
DrJack54 replied to Rovering's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You would be applying for a non O visa based on retirement. For that visa you only require 800k in bank on the day you apply. That 90 day stamp gives you time to meet the requirements for 12 month extension. It's NOT a retirement visa (no such thing) You will not need 30 day extension. I assume you have a Thai bank account. If not use agent to open one and transfer 800k asap. Popular option for that is WISE (formally TransferWise) -
When does TM30 reset?
DrJack54 replied to Kalorymetr's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You do not need to do anything. TM30 in your situation is for change of address or when you return with new visa or visa exempt. -

30 day extension advice please......
DrJack54 replied to ootandaboot's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Yes. The screenshot provided by the hotel would need to be same province at immigration office. Does not need to be night prior. Prior to check in ask hotel if they are filing a TM30 and can provide screenshot. -
When does TM30 reset?
DrJack54 replied to Kalorymetr's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You stated... "I have been living in the same condo for almost 2 years, I did initial TM30 here, but I never knew I was supposed to re-do it after coming back from abroad" Did you enter on new visa or visa exempt then you need file a new TM30. If re-entering on same visa or a reentry permit then no TM30 would be required. By way of example...I'm typing this from Oz on a two week trip home. Back Bangkok in couple of days with reentry permit. Will I do a TM30? Absolutely not. Mainly as it is not required. As for 90 day report. I will do that online 75 days after date of entry to Thailand. -
When does TM30 reset?
DrJack54 replied to Kalorymetr's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Don't even understand why you are doing TM30,s in person. Why are you doing TM30. That is for change of residence. Not for traveling inside Thailand or even from trip abroad unless you enter on new visa or visa exempt -

How do you do your reports. Online, post or in person. The request you have from immigration is absurd. However nothing with CM surprises me. -
30 day extension advice please......
DrJack54 replied to ootandaboot's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
No. What you may need is a TM30. You mention staying HH. If stay a night at a hotel check if they file a TM30 (they should) and ask for screenshot of the filing of the TM30. That should be enough to satisfy immigration. -
Late with 90 day reporting?
DrJack54 replied to Batty's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It would not affect your extension. Yes the 90 day count starts from date of reentry to Thailand. At departure from Thailand passport control is not interested in your 90 report status. -
