Don't be at all afraid to ask immigration officer on arrival if you can please have a visa exempt entry in lieu of stay according to your reentry permit. It's been done many times previously. It's not a big deal and don't be nervous about it. Worst case he says the standard Thai reply..."Can Not"

30 days. You are not aware of days for visa exempt entry via land. Prior to April 1 it was 45 days. Pretty much common knowledge.

Then posts above from @OJAS you point out songkran holidays will cause issues. So you didn't manage to season the funds but start a thread pointing out holes in some suggestions. It's not true. Your idea of 6 visa exempt entries via air and perhaps a 30 day extension to each would provide 12 month stay in Thailand without ever obtaining a visa or using land entry. You would end being refused entry. Very strange thread OP get a METV

May be of some interest to OP. Yesterday I rented out a condo for year lease to a USA guy. His job....digital nomad. Lives in Thailand with extensions to non O retirement. His business has nothing to Thailand and no Thai clients. No problem.

You certainly had a helpful io. Do you have home visits? Strangely, that's one thing that would do my head in. Can understand many saying that it's no big deal. I wouldn't appreciate it.
