  1. Shane McGowans brother ? 🤣
  2. Only you know how you feel… Its not a hard procedure for a youngster, but I’d be cautious at your age personally. But if you feel strong and money isn’t an issue then look into it. PS Perfect response to the boofhead who wanted to lock you away 👍🏼🤣
  3. Thanks for the update Xylophone. I’ll be over in May, it’ll be interesting to see the changes… and any similarities.
  4. After my recent success with my bore my neighbour decided to have (another) crack… He used my diviner and the same driller who he knew well. Result… failure 😢 They hit the same bedrock that I have but without much water on top, so tried drilling through but gave up after 15m of rock, total depth 70m. At the moment he’s trying to develop a cavern by pumping hard to drain the bore every day. Ill probably run a line over to his fence for him.
  5. Cool story, I prefer to just close my eyes and walk across Sukimvit Rd and I’m as fit as a fiddle… 🙄 Im glad you’re satisfied with your life so far and long may you continue but it’s not sound advice for others to follow.
  6. 90lts/minute = 1.5lt/sec. My understanding is that that will always degrade over time. Pumping at a rate of 1/3 bore capacity, 30lts/min, .5lts/sec is sustainable long term. Sometimes, developing an underground cavity is beneficial but usually only when the bore is marginal to start with. Pumping at .5lt/sec is going to give you 1800lts an hour, that’s a lot of water. How do you irrigate Owl ? Drippers, sprinkler heads, open channels ? Dont just drop in any old pump you can get your hands on, try to match it to your irrigation system.
  7. All I know about my back is that when it’s strong it’s strong until it’s not… I herniated S3 mid year but I think it was a relapse from 9 years ago, I’m back at 95% but as I’m still working I know it’s only a matter of time and I’ll reevaluate when it happens. Im resistant to surgery but if experts think it’s the best option I’m not going to tell them their job.
  8. But again you’re comparing a 6 year old box to a new one, go look at a 6 year old ev and compare
  9. Thats a fairly fluid bunch of timeline points you’ve got there. I doubt there’s a perfect time to buy anything hightech. They say the best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago, I’d suggest the best time to buy an ev is today… Should your personal “nirvana point” ever eventuate you could trade up at that point. That said I’m sure any new car will be a better vehicle in 2028 compared to 2024.
  10. Because you stated 2028 like it was a significant date, when it would appear random and unrelated to anything other than your personal financial timeline maybe… ?
  11. Why 2028 ? why not 2026 or 2039 ?
  12. I’m someone who feels you’re anti ev but then occasionally you make a post like this and I think there’s a balanced thinker in there somewhere… If 10% of the ice disappeared tomorrow to be replaced by ev’s at the least the air in the city would be cleaner. If they were all solar/renewable charged then greenhouse emissions would be reduced going forward. The overall “green cost/emissions is a longer term equation but so is the ice vehicle with higher day to day emissions.
  13. @Encid Hows life ? Anymore updates for us ? Pics ?
  14. You fail to understand your hypocrisy ? 🤣
  15. Yeah, every 3 months or 5000km… 🤣 You talk in here of self righteous ev drivers trying to justify their choices and pushing their opinions to make themselves feel better, then when someone gets undercharged for some grapes, the seek the correct charge and you reply thus: Advanced Member 22k Gender:Male Location:Chiang Rai and a village Posted 12 hours ago I would point out a pricing mistake irrespective of whether it is in my favor, or vice versa. I don't buy grapes, loaded with sugar. Do you feel better after pushing your un-asked agenda ? Go away and dream up an new hypothetical for not owning a car that is silent and doesn’t stink.
  16. I’d have thought a vehicle that essentially doesn’t need servicing would be a winner, but that’s just me…
  17. Ohh yeah… well he’d be screwed if he didn’t carry 3000 baht in cash with him !
  18. I assumed that topping another vehicle was possible, I guess the haters will just need to dream up another hypothetical now…
  19. Very much confirming that you are indeed a man of some stature and bearing. Was it Freddie Trueman who said that a gentleman was one who got out of the bath to have a piiss ?
  20. If I remember correctly xylophone and village farang were catwalk types back in their days, Owl too it seems… 🤣😎
  21. I recon the confused old fool is talking about mayonnaise…
  22. I’ll check with the Concretor tomorrow… 😎
  23. Do you go to your local church to tell them they’re all wrong ? Communist countries ? Democratic countries ? How about congregations of left handed people ? Let the early adopters be, I say
  24. You’ve likely still got the option of sourcing a nonChinese produced ev.
  25. You are correct about the snake, I assumed that the Blue Ringed Octopus was similar but from the Thaiger article it states …”The venom of the blue-ringed octopus is called Tetrodotoxin, similar to that of pufferfish. It can be found in the saliva, beak, tentacles, intestine, and ink sacs and directly affects the nervous system, leading to paralysis, respiratory failure, and potentially death.”
