  1. Legally it requires done, but practically there will be no issue as it's not checked on departure.
  2. Four locations to get it here. Another thread mentioned success at the first location in the article and failure at the airport office. https://www.nationthailand.com/in-focus/40001623

    Green card????

Too easy to forge would be one reason not to accept it.

    Green card????

Agreed, MOPH computers will not be accessible from Immigration systems in the airport or wherever.
  5. If they don't have the capability to increase the level of genomic surveillance then this is a non-starter.
  6. The app needs an Android operating system. You can simulate this on a computer using a program called Bluestacks among others.
  7. Yes, use any scanning method to scan the QR code and it should decode as a MOPH web address where you'll see your vaccination record.
  8. So they can realise the value of it when they're needing a good care home in later life (unless their children try to take it away as the OP appears to be wanting to).
  9. Where have you guys got these different reasons for the change from? I don't know the newpapers' sources, but they indicate the change was down to the high levels of Beta variant which is at odds with all the above. https://www.glasgowlive.co.uk/news/glasgow-news/green-travel-list-canada-denmark-21412106 https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/travel/red-amber-green-list-changes-21411707
  10. Reportedly due to the prevalence of Beta variant which the vaccines struggle with.
  11. That requirement can be waived by an officer of sufficient rank (and bribability if that's a word).
  12. I didn't have a question. Scanning the QR code on the paper takes you to the same information on the MOPH website as displayed by the app. A possible alternative for the poster without a smart phone.
  13. The venue could scan the QR code on the paper copy to match it up with some other ID.
  14. Show the paper copy. The app accesses the same information on the MOPH website just in a more user friendly (for most) manner .
  15. The latter will usually not result in the international transfer annotation. She's right. It does however have an influence on Wise who then use a procedure which ends up with the transfer being marked as international when it arrives in your Bangkok Bank account.
  16. Use the "ID Card Number" on the paper vaccination record and you'll be able to register on the Mor Phrom App.
  17. The OPs plan will result in his mum getting a basic (low) level of care from the local authority paid from their coffers. Realising the value of her house will allow her a much more comfortable time in her final years. I know which one I want for my mum and it won't involve me filling my pockets.
  18. Even they would not currently count for entry if the vaccinations had been administered under the Thai program. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/how-to-quarantine-when-you-arrive-in-england#rules-if-youre-fully-vaccinated
  19. None there either. Crossing from Laos at Mukdahan Friendship Bridge gives the option of ALQ there, and at Aranyaphet you can use Prachinburi ALQ. I have not heard of any such arrangements at Nong Khai.
  20. There are no ALQ hotels in Nong Khai according to the list here: http://hsscovid.com/
  21. It's not the vaccine type that's your problem, but the fact they'll be administered in Thailand that currently rules all of them out. Currently only US residents vaccinated in the US, and people vaccinated under the UK or EU programs with approved vaccines get preferential treatment on entry to the UK. If I were you I'd go for AZ or Pfizer as I reckon there's more chance of them being approved before the Chinese ones, or bite the bullet, go to the UK without vaccination, do the self isolation and get vaccinated in the UK.
  22. Not sure where the OP is from, but this is only valid in England. Anyone travelling to other areas of the UK will have to do the full 10 days.
  23. Yes. Although you could reduce it in England at least using the Day 5 Test to Release option.
  24. Example of a typical certificate in this thread: https://aseannow.com/topic/1227839-vaccine-passport-or-proof-of-vaccination-for-overseas-travel-anyone-got-this/
