Free rides on Bangkok’s Yellow Line monorail during June trial
lopburi3 replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
Although Lat Phao Road is still a nightmare to drive it has greatly improved in the last few months and sections have started to open below the train providing a new smooth lane for traffic. But not everywhere - and looking at the entry/exit areas to stations does still seem less than complete. -

Dial phones were the replacement for clicking the headset holder to personal operator service - lost a lot of date options with that invention. VHS was a poor excuse for Betamax but due to numbers became the standard. Believe there are pills for stamina? ???? -

Consolidated entries should not be an issue if you provide bank statements (as many of us using income have to do now). Best to us another account for normal money usage and just use your name only account for money in account and or deposits and then transfer working funds to another account - books last much longer that way. Edit: As for immigration using QR codes don't have a clue as I do not use myself. -

True enough but on the point of phone banking there are very valid concerns as the loss from apps can be much higher than we would normally lose from a lost wallet and banks have been very reluctant to offer much protection. Anything electronic is subject to intercept and manipulation. Not safe at any speed. Yes, the young adapt well to such devices but safety is a totally different ballgame. -
New to Wise...appreciate your hep
lopburi3 replied to Tariya's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
There are two very separate paths using Wise to transfer to Bangkok Bank account. You can transfer funds to a Wise account and then use that account to transfer to BBL or you can just transfer directly from a US account to BBL account. But believe accounts have to be set up first - US account believe is by logging on through a 3rd party via Wise and foreign account with a test transfer/report amount. Once set up all accounts will appear as options on Wise screens. -

Was not talking major card places - they have no choice - but those that often deal in cash will often charge more for cards. This was most apparent to me with soi travel agents (which suspect many are actually money launderers and could care less about selling tickets). -

In Thailand it has often been a reduced price paying cash, and still is for some things - card use would be a higher price. -

Actually ATM robbery has become a rather large issue over the last few years and believe many not located at banks or 24 hour establishments have made the decision to remove. Not only a cost in cash but a cost in machine as they are often destroyed. Of course this has been even more as many smaller branch banks also closed during pandemic. But in turn more people have turned to phone/QR code and such so no longer require the cash machine for either cash or banking transactions. Expect keeping the machines supplied/monitored/protected is an expense banks would prefer to eliminate. -

Indeed very poor reporting in that regard. -
As your post does not state any price point not sure how tight your budget is but for me BMAX B3 mini computer makes sense here and have bought myself. Everything in small box with no heat or noise - plug and play on any monitor or TV via HDMI. Hook up mouse/keyboard and good to go. I bought this for 8k and very happy with it. If you need gaming computer would not be that great but for normal usage very fast and takes up no space. Edit - you posted further while I wrote - sorry this a bit above your price point but would consider the BMAX B2 versions under 5k - I almost went with that myself.

Then you do not want to watch ch27 one minute ago for the full video. -
I understand that - can't you accept agreement? As for cost that sticker is likely only a fraction of a baht all told so really no motivation to remove (unless you have total monopoly and that fraction of a baht adds up to more than a normal producer gains in brand awareness).
-
Not supporting stickers and when I packed eggs on family farm some 70 years ago there were none. But the packing does help prevent damage. As for fruits buyer wants to see is selling point - but on open shelf issue becomes buyer drops.
-
Because they are packed in egg crates and have been for a century.

200 baht here for 10 sheets of 10 (100 pills). https://bangkokdrugstore.com/product/amlopine-5-mg-10s/

Can't speak to card issue but 8-10k would seem a confirmation amount so perhaps that is an issue - know when I used US debit card for more than few thousand baht get a verification code to enter direct from bank prior to its being approved. But have not used AliExpress for years as once they took over Lazada most items because available on that platform without 1-2 month waits for shipment.
