  1. Most recent studies Israel said that people with 2x vaxx Pfizer had 6x higher chance on Delta strain issues than people who had generic covid beforehand (which is similar to a generic flu). So in this case, we miss a lot of facts to make any statements, let alone news reports. Not to forget we had this huge pneumonia incidents around late 2019, which were never to be found later on in the news. Did we have covid there up north before it ever became a thing? And in that case, those people are safer than vaccinated people too.
  2. Having your own pool is just simply put stupid and silly unless you are at a certain point of wealth where maintaining it properly VS usage, is no longer relevant than that. In every other case you speak wannabees or dumb asses + better off using pools externally. Having a pool now with temporary big buying power of westerners, is like having your own golf course to still get out and golf at the real golf course basically. No sustainability in it all, neither for future buyers (if available at all, at value pricing).

  7. Up north they stay out later, check less and drink a lot, relative low vaccination rates and no issues since day 1 that are significant. Just not a very good timing and decision if you also liked to increase your wealth, which would pay your rent free too.
  11. A 2-3BR with pool goes for as little as 20K and we are not heading to anything close to 50% of previous levels in terms of foreigners and tourism either. So actually you overpaid renting previously and should not count on more than 4% returns yearly. Try finding someone renting long terms without gaps and commissions to real estate agents aside of that. And 1% of that will be maintenance at least. Maintenance will also be a blast, most times the issues won't show until 2 raining seasons later. But if you did always over pay renting, and kept on doing that, you would kind of be risk free after a short term indeed, assuming it is sellable by then (that requires quite some positive economic moves at this stage, we are not 5-7 years ago). Last but not least, you said it was dead money, you don't want all in the stock market, but now you did risk it in real estate casino thailand. I think you'd been better off putting it into gold or bitcoin and renting. But if you don't plan leaving, it can be nice to have your own designed home.

  15. Lol, you mis out on the basics. The reason they want 400-800K baht deposits is because they can do fractional banking and charge 13% yearly interest to Thais. That means 400K becomes 4-8M baht with 13% = 520K-1.4M a year. They do not need dead people their funds for that, that's more like the cherry on top. In fact, they earn more on it as long you are still alive.
  16. How long you been around Thailand? Thais pay for every position they take in, just to become the village headman in a poor village can cost 500K baht, for 2-4 years only. That is why they misuse all the gov funds, to recoup it.
