  1. Under 50 and not married. Please, I'd be eternally grateful if you could introduce me to one of these dodgy agents who you claim can get a long stay in these circumstances.
  2. Why would you have to say that you don't have a girlfriend???
  3. I wouldn't worry, Bob. I still find your wife attractive.
  4. How can I argue with you? You're being completely incoherent.
  5. I did not say that. Please provide a quote where I did.
  6. So not at all relevant, thanks.
  7. How is tha relevant to my post?
  8. You seem very adamant about this apparent rule. Where exactly is it stipulated that fast food should only be consumed when you are "on the road already"? Is it a legal thing? Or a religious issue perhaps?
  9. If know of a good agent who can arrange long stay visas for those unmarried and under 50 for "a heck of a lot less" than the elite packages I would be very grateful for an introduction. As would many others, I'm sure.
  10. Is this something you do regularly? It sounds more like a fantasy than a vice...
  11. Excellent post. It's rare to meet a "have" who aknowledges the role luck played in their journey.
  12. But it's fine to ignore them when they've travelled half way around the world to try and find you after you abandoned them, isn't it?
  13. I agree 100%. I always thought of Pad Krapaow as the British equivalent of chips.... Something you usually order because you can't think of what else to have, but vary rarely (though sometimes) order it because you actually have a craving for it.
  14. The point I'm making is if you're going to submit a fake ticket there are ways to do that without paying. I can see the argument for paying for a genuine onward ticket I can also see an argument for using a fake ticket. I can't see the argument for paying for a fake ticket.
  15. I'm sorry. I can't continue this debate. You have demonstrated a clear lack of understanding of how the asylum system works, and you also don't seem to understand the terms "whataboutary" or "misquote". There's just no way to effectively communicate with such a person. ????‍♂️
  16. The issue with onward tickets is that most sites only provide a booking with 24-48 hours of validity, after that it gets cancelled. This may be fine for "proving" an onward flight when checking in for your flight without a visa, and it's probably just about usable for applying for a visa at an embassy. But it's not suitable for an e-visa application that could take several days. I'm sure somebody will come along and say "who's going to check", but if you have that attitude then there's no need to pay money for an onward ticket at all...
  17. The illigal migration bill is not required to deport failed asylum applications in the UK. All that is needed to deport applicants is for that application to be processed and rejected. Then they can perfectly legally be deported to country of origin. This is the way it's been working for years. At least as many years as as I've been alive, and all ghe way up until about 2 or 3 years ago when the tories just stopped processing the applications. Now, your claim was not that opposition parties reject the IMB, it was that opposition parties reject the premise of deporting failed asylum applications. Do you now accept that this is incorrect?
  18. When I applied for my METV, I had a return ticket but the return leg was well outside the validity of the visa. It didn't seem to be a problem.
  19. Firstly lib dems are not the opposition. Secondly, nowhere in that article is any MP quoted as saying that they are against deporting failed asylum applications. Try again please.
  20. Fantastic. Now whenever my girlfriend complains that I don't buy her nice presents, I can point her to this post. Never buy a girl shoes, watches, perfume or jewelry? Hilarious.
  21. They go higher than that. My current one is a Ryzen 9 with 64Gb RAM. Of course they are laptop-spec CPUs but I'm fairly certain tha the increased cooling should allow them to give a bit more performance than the average laptop. (edit. Bold font nothing to do with me...)
  22. I've had two mini PCs (old one is for sale if you're interested...) Hardware wise most of them are basically just laptops without a screen. They are compact,so take up very little space. They work well as generic office/web browsing machines, and the higher end ones are perfectly suitable for gaming or development or other intensive tasks. The only real downside is limited upgradability (ram and storage can generally be upgraded, but CPU and gfx card can't). But as most people never make any upgrades before just buying a new computer, it's not as big a disadvantage as it really sounds.
