This is a VERY GOOD Topic, Sir. This is such a good question. I am thinking about using GROK 3. What do you think of good ole Grok....???? And, how I can I harness the power of Grok for my own good? Do you have any thoughts on this???? Thank you....!!!!!! -
Are Trump's intentions positive, or is he just unhinged?

Well then....THINK ABOUT....THIS, why don't you..... The very best thing the Chinese People could do for themselves, and for the world, would be to..... Decapitate the Communist Party of China (CPC). Can they do it? They can. Will they do it? They DO have the will. But, do they have the means? This waits to be seen. I am rooting for the People of China. I believe they will do the right thing. I KNOW that this is what they want. But, will Xi begin to stir up Nationalism at this time, as he... Always does? This is not a JOKE comment, Sir. This comment of mine is added as one from an EXPERT...of sorts.... -
No!!!! The question which will decide the next war, meaning HOT WAR, will be the question of which economy, China vs USA, can produce the most drones, the fastest. Can the USA beat China, these days, in manufacturing...??? I seriously DOUBT that it can....BIG TIME...!!!! Note: Are you still under the misapprehension that it will be HUMANS operating drones...in the coming days????? REALLY.....!!!!!?????

I have had the temerity and the skills. Very difficult. But, starting up a factory anywhere is not easy. This is why I have such great respect for my fellow alum.... ELON -
Forget about jobs. We are at war with China. Can you not understand this? We need to manufacture FASTER, BETTER, and for lower cost than China can. For this, we will NOT BE ABLE to use humans. Humans are no longer needed in the manufacturing process. This has been almost true for many years. Anyway, what human really wants to work in a factory on the assembly line?

This is the question I am asking, not you....haha....! Also, China has it rigged so that no USA company can 100-percent own a factory in China. This is BAD. This leads to IP theft, and many more negatives. As I have said many times, Chinese are smarter than Americans. IQ 106 for China IQ 98 for USA, if you add all the illegal aliens in, then maybe IQ 92. How familiar are you with doing business in China? Have you ever set up a factory there? -

And, you think I am not an expert? -
Dear Folks, China has used manufacturing to develop advanced robotics production expertise. The USA, which manufactures its goods in China, lacks this same degree of automation. So, is the USA doomed? Is it too late to catch up? Even now, advancements are progressing exponentially. What are the betting odds, anyway? https://www.nytimes.com/2025/04/23/business/china-tariffs-robots-automation.html This is NOTHING NEW.... This revolution in manufacturing in China began over a decade ago. So then.... What were the Americans even thinking? Where was the country's leadership? Asleep??? Haha, maybe ask Biden, and he is one who knows how to sleep. But, this began way before Biden....meaning the decline of America. Was this decline lead by Wall Street and major investors? Why was this allowed to happen? Such a mystery, to me, during the past 4 decades. Did/Does America have a secret death wish? It would seem so. Such a mystery. Best regards, Gamma

It qualifies me to know more about China, and what it is really like to live, and to have lived, under Commie Rule. Have YOU had the same pleasure? What is it REALLY like to live in China? Have YOU a CLUE? What was it like in the 1980s? Do YOU know? -

GammaGlobulin replied to spidermike007's topic in Political Soapbox
No. Not something that children do. China has far too many restrictions. Dealing with China is NOT free trade. The US economy may have become the largest but certainly NOT due to China's restrictions, such as company ownership, such as FORCED sharing of IP to Chinese owned companies, and so much more. We need to get rid of China, until the fall of Commie Marxist-Leninist Authoritarian Dictatorship of a State. The idiot XI is not even among the hardliners in China, and yet XI is already terrible enough. The entire leadership stinks. Not democratic. And, your entire argument falls when viewed through the lens of China trade and recent China history. Do you do business in China? Have you lived in China? Or, have you just watched YT videos about China? "Something children do" my left nut, Sir!!!!! -

Better to be optimistic. This will require 6 or more months before we can more easily see the results of what is now happening. Sometimes, it's just fun to stir things up a bit, and see what happens. Hard to bake a cake without cracking a few eggs. -

Would someone know where to get *paper* bags?
GammaGlobulin replied to Tercera_Edad's topic in Pattaya
I would not add acetylene gas to my fruit. I would, instead, rely on the naturally produced ETHYLENE Gas from the fruit, itself. But I would enclose the fruit, so that I could concentrate the gas.... For welding purposes, however, then acetylene will be better than ethylene... -

Well, it doesn't look like a banana. Sometimes, stores will make fruit as being a banana when it turns out to actually be a plantain. And, plantains are terrible to eat uncooked. So, not sure why paper bags are still required. But, I think they are good for packaging baked bread at the local bakery. Maybe next time you pass by a bakery, then just buy a few paper bags. Or, better yet... Buy bread from the bakery, then save the bags after finishing the bread. -

Haha! Just as I expected. No reason to use a paper bag. Why would there be? I would use just any old container I had at hand... I just checked this due to my neverending curiosity about our world. And, I found this... Ethylene gas is Great Stuff...!!! -

I would not waste my time eating a banana Shipped from Amazon. BUT...the reason that bananas ripen more quickly when enclose in a bag is ETHYLENE GAS which is produced by the fruit itself Therefore, I see no reason why one cannot just trap this gas using a plastic bag, rather than a paper bag. Or, maybe experiment with other homemade enclosures, like a cardboard box which has been made fairly airtight, and which is small enough to fit the size of the fruit you are trying to ripen faster. Let me know how this works. Thank you. -

Those are not bananas. Those appear to be plantains.
