Why do so many Thai prostitutes marry their customers?
KhunLA replied to MalcolmB's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Why would you want to. Wish someone would have paid me when a youngin to have sex. All I did was party and have sex anyway ... except I had to got to work the next day, and get paid a pittance. Obviously in the wrong line of work -
Could always use the slow charging cable (22kWh), by the hour, and gives you an hour to munch or stroll around.

MG repair/body shop was quite good. I think 6 weeks, all in ? (ins approved), and needed 2 separate part orders, and 2 ins. approvals (2 weeks alone for approvals) as part of the delay. Body work & axle all done, or so they thought. Called up, said done, just need to take test drive. Called back, and said it's going to be a while longer As rear assembly doesn't sound & feel right. Another approval for more work. Aside from slight delay, excellent repair, and you'd never know it had an oops. Rear driver side quarter & door, but rear axle took the brunt of the hit, after the crunchables did their thing. I tried to change the tire, to drive home, and the body went up, but the tire & axle never left the ground Sept/Oct ? 2023, < 1 yr old (2022) ... Ouch

Why do so many Thai prostitutes marry their customers?
KhunLA replied to MalcolmB's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
To the topic ... ... why does anyone marry their customer in any service oriented job or profession. Or how meeting any partner that develops into a relationship or eventually marriage, even matter at all ... I've dated & lived with coworkers ... dated workers under my supervision. Had to fire one, awkward. ... I've dated the Mitsubishi auto service rep, when owning one ... dated waitresses, food servers, bartenders, and how met present wife/food server ... dated my physical therapist ... dated 2 prostitutes, met in social setting (non P4P), actually married the one. Obviously didn't work out, but no major regrets ... dated another gal, suspect was prostitute, but topic never came up. Both those relationships ended as daughter didn't like them, and it's a package deal, so they ended. Why does anyone marry any one in the 21st Century ? Seems that institution is dying out fast, as it should IMHO -
Of all those listed, I wouldn't bother with any, except Magnesium, which I do take, and not more than 400mg a day. Notice the ones I searched on Google all state ... 'may' or 'might' help said ailment, symptom, none stating will, with any real research. Along with side effects, and recommended 'short term' use only. Need to Google more sources than just the ones noted in OP. Most people don't even need supplements, if eating a decent whole food diet. Strange people take supplements, without even getting a blood test to see if they are deficient in said vitamin or mineral. Too much of many can cause serious damage & side effects. I've stopped taking all supplements, except for the one mentioned. On a stricter whole food diet now, and due for a vitamin & mineral blood test this month, to see if deficient in anything. Highly unlikely, but would be nice info to have. Especially since having a few supplements here, that I'd prefer to actually use, instead of trashing. Many supplements provide more that 100% RDA, which nobody should really be taking, if eating a balanced whole food diet. Especially if said vitamin, mineral is not water soluble.

Nah, just Tesla supplying customer support, since paying a bit of a premium for their offerings. 👍👍 Would be nice if offered to non Tesla autos, at least till demand was there for Tesla customers. Would be smart business for ROI.

I'm going to try Bologna next. Have a recipe for it. Not much different from ham actually, a few extra spices. The recipe calls for beet root juice, for the characteristic color, and I guess a minor flavor additive. Thought that was a bit strange. Without the coloring, it just looks like ham. Be like drink 7-Up in an off yellow glass, and mentally taste like Ginger Ale

external meter with Deye instead of CT
KhunLA replied to mateusz1945's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
Mine is also about 0.3kWh a day, as PEA bill shows 9-10kWh a month, and we don't use it for anything, except the MG wall charging cable, which is rarely used, and the only thing on the grid. -
Another pressed ham, and turned out better. Same ingredients, but wee bit less salt, 12g vs 15gr, and twice as much milk powder (binder), 4gr vs 2gr. Difference, put the pork, trimmed loin, instead of trimmed shoulder in food processor, and made it a paste almost, super minced. Stays together when slicing, as first ham had some chunks separate.

This is a wee bit optimistic here in TH. 10-80% = 70% (30mins) Usually takes us about 30-35 mins for 30-90/95% = 60-65% About 30kWh added (65%)

oops ... didn't realize it was CM responses only. Although the chains I buy from, mentioned, also have locations in CM. Plenty of choices, types of cheese. Price a bit relative, but nothing in OP to go by. Good cheese will be 1000 THB/kg & up. Oh well ... 😎

Accusations of Hypocrisy as Private Jet use Doubles Travelling to Cop29
KhunLA replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Definitely the epitome of hypocrisy. As guessing the elite, are some of the worst abusive of natural resources. Glad they know what's best for us normal folks. I wouldn't know what to do without their advice -
All our out and abouts, and I think we came across one 'super charger', which is useless for us anyway, as MG ZS will only accept 76kWh anyway. Think most (PTT EV PLUZs) are 50-75kW cables. All are 50kWh or more, that we use. Seriously, only needed when O&A anyway, which for most folks, isn't that often anyway. We take about 30 mins at stops, so car near 90-95% by the time we're ready to continue on anyway. At a slow 50kWh, 30 mins is 25kWh, and that's more than 50% of our battery anyway (46.3kWh). Takes it from 30-40% low, to 80-90% in 30 mins, for ball park estimate, If arriving <30%, just a few minutes more to 90 or 95%.. Not really interested in driving that much further anyway, as means we've already been on the road 3-4 hrs.

How much do you pay for health insurance?
KhunLA replied to rudi49jr's topic in Insurance in Thailand
Good advice, as part of my 'health maintenance', I get a full check up, every year or so, to stay on top of things, as always best to catch anything early. Much cheaper than monthly premiums, and the way to go, if no family history or pre existing. Healthy 'whole food' diet, keeps the body immune system prepped, along with a wee bit of exercise, keep things moving. If just our for a stroll everyday, and don't need to be intense. Good health isn't rocket science. At 50-55 yrs old, your body can't keep up with all your vices, so I cut them all out. Interestingly, I don't miss any of them. Almost no alcohol. Have a bunch of ganga here, but doubt if I smoke 1 doobie a month. Gave most of it away, and would give most of the rest away, if I knew someone I could trust that smoked it. THC content will probably be nil in about a year. -
How much do you pay for health insurance?
KhunLA replied to rudi49jr's topic in Insurance in Thailand
If I only had ฿100k savings in the bank, I certainly wouldn't be retiring in a foreign country. ฿1M should be enough for most people, at govt hospital. That would probably pay for emergency by-pass surgery if needed. Anything else, once stabilized, you could fly back to home country, and be a blight on society there I prefer a larger savings account, since having wife & kid, though kid has employer paid Thai health insurance. Wife had surgery last year, couple night in hospital, and only cost was for private room, and some incidentals. Rest covered by Thai universal insurance, at no cost. Sadly, I think you are correct, and most here are living month to month. Oh well ... 😎 -
I guess if I had anger management issues and got caught attacking someone, I'd blame it on something else also, especially a stimulant and plead ... " I didn't know what happen " In all my years of ganga abuse, about 45 yrs, I've never known anyone to be violent because they were under the influence of ganga. Actually the opposite, and Aholes that were unstably violent at times, were usually very passive aggressive when stoned.

How much do you pay for health insurance?
KhunLA replied to rudi49jr's topic in Insurance in Thailand
Never paid for private health insurance. Only had one employer paid coverage, for 13 of ~30 years of working in USA. Only needed health insurance for OJI (on job injuries), back issues. Never had or needed insurance after stopped working or during retirement in TH. One oops over 2 yrs ago here, minor procedure and 12 ish hours in ICU, at govt hosp., all in, ~220k THB. Continue to self insure, and wife knows, at 70, DNR. No known family health issues, aside from self induced cancers & stroke. A bunch of chain smoking alkys. Skipped my generation, and siblings all healthy at 65, 71 & 77 yrs old. Parents crapped out at 69 & 74. Think I'm way ahead on the financial curve of paid health insurance. At a low $300 USD a month, times 12, times 24 years = $86,400 / ฿3M Pretty sure I can't get that sick, or would pay for a couple crap years to go. -

Thailand goes all in on The Homosexual Movement
KhunLA replied to Yagoda's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
If someone was to state to me their gender, and don't know how that would come up in a conversation, but if prefers to be called something other than male, female, he, she, him, or her, then what's you name ? I'll go with that, and if not good enough, then F'off I just can't use silly pronouns, then I sound like an idiot. NO thanks -

"Who invented the word 'gender" ? And there you have it, some idiot, replaced ''sex" which there are only 2, male & female, with 'gender'. Then they invented an endless amount of adjectives to fit there mental illness, need to be 'different'
