  2. Yea ... but the country is a wee bit bigger than the UK, which, the UK is only half the size of TH Let that sink in ...
  3. You certainly don't need to be rich to live in TH. 800k THB shouldn't be a stretch for anyone retired. All else fails, hate to endorse skirting the requirement, but an agent sorts many out here, or so we read, that can't swing the 800k. Only thing that would keep me out of TH, would be need for constant healthcare, and since a Yank, not sure I even fit in that category. Ellen & partner are rich, so can live anywhere. No real need to leave the USA, for any reason, Trump or left/right/woke, as can live anywhere and avoid all that silliness, by just not following MSM. The USA is not that divided or on the brink on civil war, only on MSM. I could live anywhere in the USA, PC/left/right/woke is easily avoided, if you don't seek it out.
  4. I did say 'Philly' thing. Something I would rarely eat out, order at restaurant, as rare to have brekkie out of the house. I think most people order brekkie when served 24 hours or all day, as either a budget meal/CC, or safe meal, as really hard to screw up. Same with burgers, another I never order out, in USA. and rarely here at proper restaurant. Both seem to dominate forums. See the attraction here though, does cater to the CC, and those that don't eat the local fare. Eggs are my first meal of the day, everyday, so I'm not ordering brekkie anywhere, any time. Eggs in a pan when out & about, is about only time I order eggs. Rare, as prefer regional fare when not at home. Did get turned on to Cumberland sausages, very first time a proper English brekkie came with the room, so many years ago (Udon Thani). and was a pleasant change from my usual spicy sausages. That and Sunday Roast, which I ate a lot of, at Udon Thani, only for the roast beef or turkey offering. Only 2 redeeming offering the UK has brought to world stage ... Along with a few tasty ales 👍👍
  5. Great stuff, thanks. You like to hop around. I thought I moved around a bit, state to state when in USA, but you're constantly on the move, country to country Keep it coming, as nice to get real info from real people there. No tourist ... BLISS, though sucks for the locals.
  6. Hell NO ... need some taters; hash browns or home fries. Meat is usually ham or bacon, sometimes sausage (patty or links) though I prefer Scrapple (Philly thing). Maybe a side of pancakes or waffles if wanting a pig out, though toast is enough for me.
  7. Lax laws is a stretch, and more like simply stupid drivers. Would like to see the breakdown of fatal MVA before & after 1800 hrs. That might be telling if lax law enforcement is contributory
  8. Single 'vehicle' accident, travelling all of 25 kph maybe, as yet to see one that can go much faster. Obviously not a hazard to anyone but himself ... nuff said
  9. Got #s today, and really happy with them. Most in normal or high normal. Cholesterol total was high, but really don't care, as the LDL / Trig ratio, was excellent, and best yet. Even the statin (which I quit months ago) couldn't match those numbers. 2020 and LDL / Trig was 1:3+ (50 / 159), and high end of barely acceptable. The 3X part that is. 2022 and down to 2.5 ratio, then 2 ration, also 2022 2023 and 1.5 w/statin. Now LDL - 69 / 68 - Trig so <1 : 1 👍👍 That was achieved by higher protein & fat (Keto diet) vs low fat / high carb diet, that the diet pros / big pharma recommend Thanks YT ... 'KenDBerryMD', 'Nutrition Made Simple' & 'Dr Brad Stanfield' I cut sugar & starchy carbs down, almost none. Just fibrous carb (greens), OK, with a bit of cheating, one day a week. Mainly sugar, sugar & flour heavy pastries, and way way way back on bread. Even though homemade didn't have sugar in it, still a heavy carb load. Sweet tooth fix now is homemade CheesCake & Chocolate, with minimal sugar added. My apologies to the local coffee shops that had to close Weight is hanging steady, thank you intermittent fasting. 77 kg, and only 4 kg higher, that when I finished Boot Camp, @ 21, and in peak condition, and not an ounce of fat on me. Not bad for knockin' on 70 yrs old. Weight has been 73-77 kg the past 4 years
  10. Imagine that. People can actually meet, and talk to each other, and work out their differences, misunderstanding and wait for it .... .... even agree & find common ground on things. While others simply can accept it, and continue being keyboard warriors, spewing hate, and being the epitome of hypocrisy This is what great leaders, communicators & negotiators look like...
  11. Germany, and the EU, and can't even display a swastika, as illegal in some places, even though been around centuries before Adolf like it. Can't even give a Sieg Heil salute ...
  12. Got to love that Constitution... ...that's sad that you can be arrested for talking, expressing admiration or stupidity, or anything in any country. Hate speech, threatening physical contact, yeah, and basically assault, and that should be illegal. But symbols & words, that's unbelievable censorship and control.
  13. I do enjoy watching all the snowflakes melting, good comic relief. Aside from that, could care less what goes on in the USA, as I don't live. Neither do most of the other people that seem so concerned about all things USA. I have better things to do than think about things I have NO control over. As I stated a few times, Harris would have probably been a financially better pick for me. But watching all the snowflakes melting on the forum, it's a small price to pay. I thought all the Trump threads would have died, and the forum have some interesting threads. But no, just the opposite, and it's still the gay & Trump forum 🙄
  14. People really shouldn't take more than 400mg a day. Which I do take, and only think I noticed, a much better undisturbed sleep. Not even waking to P, as was normal before. Didn't help with constipation, which Citrate is supposed to effect some folks, not me. The only supplement I take at the moment. Which most are probably deficient in. Don't take it once or twice a week, as don't want to store any extra that's not used.
  15. Why ... ... once out in public, people simply realized, she lacks any, skill, leadership and would be useless. Only amazing part is, that so many people were still ignorant, or thought voting for a mixed race female was so progressive, that qualifications didn't matter. Or worst, voted for her, simply because the didn't like Trump, and seem quite happy with the misery the Biden/Harris administration killed the American Dream.
  16. I think the title is correct ... "left after Trump's win" vs 'because of'. She was unmarketable, so basically retired anyway, as actor/comedian. Her partner also was retired, until they extended her last contract. And she's almost a Brit anyway, since an Aussie ... and apologies to all my Aussie friends. Just bored like I was, I would suspect, and if she treats people like reported, probably didn't have many friends anyway I could say I left the USA because of Cheney/Bush win, but it was just coincidental, me out, them in, though did like my tax dollars (none now) supporting their wars. More true would be USA's PC silliness that turned into more silly wokeness. But again, just coincidental. Left also because bored, and my lifestyle is so much less expensive in Thailand. Along with being able to invest, without the tax burden of the USA / IRS
  17. Originally it was cottonseed oil, but deemed unhealthy, so they upgraded it
  18. If you want to get technical, it is from vegetable, just processed in the cow during production to milk
  19. Will it be arrested for hate speech crime or is that just for right leaning folks
  20. You got love that Trump keeps people up all night distressed. Day & night, they can't seem to think of anything else. President Trump ... again ... # 47 ...
  21. Another Trump thread Maybe change the title
  22. I have the same problem .. free energy for the car. ... Damn you solar ... I suspect, because of that free energy, it's taking it's toll on the car. Instead of driving a necessary, mandatory (for convenience) 260 kms a year (10 kms once every 2 weeks) to stock up at Makro, I drive ~20k kms a year instead, since it's basically free. Of course this takes a toll the brakes, maybe, if I actually used the brakes more often, instead of relying on regen to slow the car almost to a stop. OK, surely the extra time on the road is wearing down the suspension, and struts may have to be replaced. Add in the added cost of all that extra windshield washing fluid, and it's getting expensive. Just today I drove to a local lake, to sip coffee somewhere different, fly the drone, and let the dog get some new sniffs in, as she bored going to the local park. Gave the wife a break from the slave labor on the plantation. I think I heard here humming "Eli's a coming". Why oh why did I buy a damn BEV ... 😭
