I think all 3 versions of 100% cacao powder have about the same % of coco butter, 10-12% Other brands (more expensive), may give you about 20ish %. Brown, Dark & Super Dark Chocolate ...

So we're to believe, cars, Tesla, will kill you, and not the operators of them. Almost as silly as guns kill people. People kill people. No product has ever killed a person, that wasn't first started, operated, or used by a person first. A person has always been responsible for any product or machine causing death or injury. All vehicles are safe, if operated legally. People are and always will be the problem. Anyone want to bet, what industry makes sure that statistic is headline news I'm just happy, diesel truck fumes have never hurt anyone

Yep, Musk is on the left's & MSM's sh!t list, ever since buying Twitter. And now aligning with Trump, it will only get worse.

Yes, opportunities knocks big time there. If I stayed, I could easily be a USD multi millionaire. RE was my game, so imagine 25 more years of RE investing with the way housing prices have risen. Matter of fact, don't even have to be there, live there, to invest in RE, if knowing what you're doing. I'm just too lazy to bother ...

Probably easier to do in your home country. Very easy if a Yank. TH just started a few years back, but I didn't get much further than knowing it was possible now. Since having trusted partner, and kid now adult age, no need to set one up for them. They both have access to each others assets via wills, and responsible enough to not need a trust. Give this a read ... https://www.bakermckenzie.com/-/media/files/insight/publications/2018/08/al_thailand_privatetrustactapproved_aug18.pdf?la=en#:~:text=A trust can be set, onshore assets including real estate.

Think I'll take the long scenic route, Hwy #4, from now on, when visiting the kid. When on Rama 2, passing the construction, it's like glancing up, then in front, then up, then in front, and you wonder how many are doing the same, and if I have to suddenly stop, what chain reaction will that cause Yea ... hwy #4 is sounding a better idea, and sometimes, takes just as long. Don't you love it, when ignorant people post. NOBODY, NOBODY, is denied healthcare in the USA, whether you can pay or not ... PERIOD Some illegal immigrants even get it for free, no bills pending, afterwards

Agree and our USA Soc Sec should be more than enough to live here (for marriage visa), and not taxable, here, or in the USA. Mine's enough for retirement visa requirements. The anti Yank forum never fails to shine in all it's glory. How the hell does a positive thread turn into Yank bashing Hatred or Envy ... just a few more to add the 'that list' 😎

6705 in 2020, (highest ever) and the equals 0.0002% of population. Guessing the only reason to do that, is to avoid taxes. Since other countries don't have that problem, then yes, USA might have more renouncing. Money is a good motivation, as I can live anywhere. But if I was still earning, yea, I'd consider it. UK not that far behind, since USA has about 5X the population. Since not a tax burden to live elsewhere, then they must really hate living in the UK for what it has become, not for financial gain. "2021: 868 people renounced their UK citizenship, a 30% increase from 2020" Let's count how many want to enter the USA vs other countries ... nuff said And for you Brits ... our Soc Sec doesn't get frozen when living in TH or other countries. And for me, that's a 56% increase since retired, about $1,000+ USD more than when I started. Some of you might want to give a 'Sieg Heil' or fly a 'Nazi flag' and see what happens

You can buy rye flour at many of the vendors, and I have, and used, though a bit pricy. Nice change and hard to beat a good rye bread for sandwiches, or just toasted w/butter. Most other flours & grains are available online, some pricy, and some a bit difficult to work with.

Thai transwomen fight over foreign client on Phuket’s Bangla Road
KhunLA replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
They are not ladies, and they are not boys. They're dudes, men in women's clothes and nothing else. Might have breast implants, but IMHO, doubt if any have gone all in, and had reassignment surgery (lopped off their penis), and even if so, probably need to take hormones, and still can't give birth. Not exactly a woman, as still have XY chromosomes. XY & XX is the only factor in determining ones sex. Looks and mental perception is simply a personal choice, not a fact. You can shape a beef burger long instead of round, and put it in a hot dog bun, but it's still a beef burger 😎 -
Be able to live with or even beating cancer definitely would put one in the win category, as many of lost that fight. So much more, better, information out there now, not MSM or govt/big pharma health experts, but sadly YT Actually leaning and researching, along with more importantly, results of following their advice has really enforced my lack of trust in anything MSM, govt and 'health' experts recommend. A lot was common sense, that I already knew, but some specifics about diet the last few years has made a huge change in my overall health. And future longevity, I hope. On diabetes, you may want to research cutting most or all carbs out of you diet, going strict Keto or even Carnivore diet, and may keep you from being pre, and or, diabetic or even reverse type 1 or 2. Some quite believable success stories out there. Also reported to help cancer patients, to a certain degree. Something to do with the oxidation, (ROS), the cancer cells need to grow. If not preventing, even reversing/starving/killing off cancer cells, or at least reducing the size of some tumors, that now make them removable with surgery, and nuke any cells left over. Big Pharma only wants to treat disease, with no interest of curing them, as simply not as profitable. IMHO When they do have a cure pill, they charge the most ridiculous prices for it. Damn shameful 🤬

It's easy, but most women I know, haven't got the self discipline to invest & save. Current wife is the only one, that has listened to me and understand how to do both. Not sure if entirely my influence, as all her siblings are quite successful, financially and well off, most retiring early. Not the easiest thing to do in TH. Along with most, self employed, and seem to be the common denominator. For most people, I'd suggest a trust fund, with withdrawal limits. Easy enough to set up.

I know the store bought stuff is crap, in reality, but easy and inexpensive. Wife made some form cacao pods. Once you had the real deal, you realize what store bought is lacking. But it's a lot of work, small yield and not cheap, unless growing your own. Her friend gave her a few pods. What a treat that was and taste bud & eye opening

Hell yea, definitely won. I never expected to live past 30, especially after I started riding motorcycles. That and a few other vices, and risks I'd take, just for the hell / thrill of it. Game changer aside from trying to kill myself, financially, was realizing, I'd never be able to retire, let alone as early as I did, if I remained an employee for anyone or company. Learned to use them, and the system, instead of being used up by them. Only I would ever pay myself what I was worth. From that point the rest is history, and made life easy and even more fun. Somehow I still didn't kill myself, knockin' on 70 in less than a month. 3+ yrs past life expectancy for a yank born in 1954. Since I made it this far, might make it to 80, or so I read. Been much more health conscious the past 15 ish years. Especially the last 2+ years with major diet change, and never felt healthier, aside from simply being older, and avoid bouncing since I don't do it nearly as well as I used to. Been one hell of a ride

I don't believe any organization, media, etc. I believe what I personal know. I don't know anyone who died from covid or even with covid. I do know people that had adverse effects from the vaccine, even 1 child dying from direct result of the vaccine. The science of the vaccine, testing and silly mask contradicts everything I know and learned prior to covid, and after all the silliness started. My common sense told me it was all wrong.

We use these to make our chocolate goodies, and get from Makro. Comes in 2 bag packs. Quality & inexpensive. Most chains or baking supply shops should carry it. @ravip

What are you having for Dinner tonight?
KhunLA replied to bob smith's topic in Western Food in Thailand
Yes it was, self serve, glass, ice chest, and water cooler. Actually quite common where I live, free water. Usually a pitcher of on the table, and they bring you glasses of ice, or, self serve. Bottled water also available. I just test it, to make sure it's clean, and or, not tap. At those prices, it might as well be free, and simply a perk of dining there. 18L of water might cost 20 baht. That's home delivered price, and if we pick up, only 15 baht. Doubt if they are bothered to calculate the 50 satong of water we drink into the food bill. -

Nissan has 12 to 14 Months to Survive
KhunLA replied to Mr Meeseeks's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
That's just part of it, as CN just puts out a better product. Even the legacy auto maker have CN build their cars for them, in some sort of partnership. Which are waning, as Chinese don't like losing money, and JP badged vehicles simply aren't selling and those lines are being shut down at a few factories. I think CN builds a good part of their vehicles on robotic production lines. Employee salaries aren't that important. -
