  1. NO, as not my fault you just don't get it. You apparently don't have the slightest clue about the middle east conflicts. I could continue to try to explain it to you, but I can't make you understand it. Your replies point that fact out. Have a Nice Day @Nick Carter icp Do you have any idea what you are talking about. Read the Palestinian National Covenant (Charter), when and who wrote it, who (PLO) it represents ? How it operates, (PNC) who votes (never happened), or any aspect of it. How it's been continually changed.
  2. Been to both PKK & HH govt hosp. and about the same actually. HH has a "Special Medical Clinic" that expats recommend on a local forum, but have not sampled. PKK hosp to HH hosp, and I would allow 2 hrs to drive, as it's on the very north side of town.
  3. We're looking to get about 6 of them also. Leaning more toward Rhode Island Red, Lehgor & Barlade breeds, as supposedly good egg layers, (count/size), and strong egg shells. Also will travel to pick up.
  4. Even more of a CC, that's our food budget for the month. Nothing exciting about a massage parlor, or a P4P bar. OK, the eye candy is nice, but that's it. Pretty boring if no challenge/conquest or emotions involved. Can I rent one of the elephants, got some heavy lifting to do, prepping another land lot for something ... haven't decided yet. Plenty of bananas & papaya to feed it 😎
  5. THANKS ... stories like this make me appreciate the wife even more. What a bargain, as all I have to do is feed her. And our food budget is only about ฿15k a month. Maybe ฿20k next year And also get a cook, maid service, gardener, handy person, translator, and most important ... dish washer and auto gate opener/closer Oh yea, and I better have my damn coffee before 0800 hrs ☕
  6. People vote for what benefits them ... ... those 2 items, benefit me. So add the 2.5% on to the last 3 yrs, and we're still looking good. Average of 5% for 4 yrs vs what Trump possibly would repeat if elected. Trump wants a weaker $$$ which means once again, a crap exchange rate, same as last time he was President, when it hit a low of ฿30 to $1. Where Biden actually hit a high ฿38 to $1, staying about ฿35 for quite some time. ฿30 vs ฿38 to $1, is over 18k a month difference to my Soc Sec. Even half that, then it's ฿9k a month. So possibly, anywhere between ฿108 to ฿216k a year difference. Depending if Trump weakens the $$$ or Harris bumps it up just a bit, or where Biden had it. Trump took office Feb 2017 ... ฿34.9 Biden took office Feb 2021 .. ฿30 Biden hit a high of ฿38.9 Now ... ฿33.53 ... like I want Trump to lower it So yea, those 2 issue impact me. No other issue or policy change impacts me. Why would I want a repeat of Trump, vs continuation of Biden/Harris/Dem politics ? 2024 ... HARRIS ... 2024
  7. Rarely does the doom & gloom become a reality. It's just marketing My buddy that lives in Tampa, and leaving didn't even cross his mind
  8. I'm not understanding the logic, behind the drop, or the cost. The cost is definitely out of line. The drop would be more in line for the govt incentive price of 829k, and 23% over 2 yrs. Or even 640k vs purchase price of 949k, then 33% depreciation. But the first 2 policies, used the MSRP of 1,189,000 baht, equals 60% over 2 yrs. But what happens when govt incentives expire, will the value the car at extra 240k baht then
  9. I see the adverts, but are they still there, or just trying to get you into the showroom. I think the latter. When some posts here, that just picked one up, I might, might, believe they are available.
  10. I was temped to actually buy one, just for the hell of it, but common sense/wife, talked me out of it ... "what are you F'g nuts, enuff toys already" 368k ... hard to pass up, consider the Celerio & Ciaz pricing. And never have to buy petrol again ... can it get any better
  11. I'm still waiting to hear about someone finding one of those 599k bargains, and this month, not when first announced. As I stated a few times, that's bargain of the year IMHO, if needing, wanting B-class SUV. After 2 yrs/35k kms, I still give it 👍👍
  12. See, we can agree I'm a keep till it dies, or shall I say, getting back to it. Now that I know one should last a long time. Of course, have solar, makes the BEV a no brainer, while it's running, or craps out. Then turns into more ESS
  13. Agree with JIB. Find the make / model you want, then find it at the best price from online. I'm an ASUS fan.
  14. If their life revolves around alcohol, then that's not a life. Was always a hobby to me, and never understood it as a lifestyle. As were other drugs, and TBH, low on my list of things I want to be doing. Enjoy just about every other aspect of life more than drugs, even just as a hobby, and use to only indulge, when bored and nothing else came to mind to do.
  15. Guess I need to deduct that extra insurance cost off my petrol cost savings 😭 Unless you have a front end accident (electric motors), then the cost to repair ICE & EV should be about the same. If the battery pack is compromised, then it's totaled. Although if compromised, would think it would be totaled anyway, as would take a hell of a hit to compromise the battery pack. Could roll the dice, and no extra insurance, as except for last year 🙄 haven't had an accident that wasn't fixable with pocket money, <20k, in the other 23 years here. And that was only one, prior to last your, and I think <10k to fix. Roojai got the shaft with us, as that little oops cost ~250k to fix. Would take another 10-15 yrs to recover that. You folks in your 15 minute cities, that don't need a car, well, you're definitely saving some money. Cars truly are becoming a luxury item. Unless knocking around in an uninsured beater
  16. With the exception of the MG, as always a better value than JP badged autos at same price point. Do note the highlighted (quote) below .... 'performance' ZS ICE ... 0-100 kph ... ~12.2 sec ZS BEV ... 0-100 kph ... ~8.4 secs Good luck finding an ICEV that performs as good as the ZS BEV @ 829K Price the Toyota Crosses & specs. ... Corolla Cross starts (not HEV) @ 999k ... Yaris Cross HEV starts @ 789k ... 10.65 secs They needs petrol to operate
  17. Here's one for you anti BEV'er to repeat, over & over again ... Just asked about renewing our 2022 MG ZS EV insurance, as up the end of the month. Got a big shocker, not only the price 2X+ as much, 9k to 20k, but total loss value dropped from 840k to 640k. That's 60% off the MSRP (1.189M in 2 yrs. That's nuts. Irrelevant to us, as we plan on keeping till it dies, or added to the solar system. Should be long after I'm gone, and the last car the wife will ever need, hopefully. If not, then she has plenty of ESS for the SS. Bought new 2022, free 1st yr ins. Renewed w/Roojai @ 9k, Now 2yr & 35k kms old, and 60% drop in value I almost want to park in the coconut grove and report stolen, as worth 840k till the end of the month Wife calling nephew, for hopefully a better price.
  18. I wouldn't think practical, or economical if practical. At peek time, if sunny, most you're going to get from any one panel is 500-700w per hour, and need an inverter to use. Consider your slow charging cable is 2-3+kWh per, and you see the issue.
  19. That would be the city of Loei, and decent small town as they go. Lovely countryside short drives away. Nice river town, Chiang Khan, north of.
  20. I didn't think I had to state the obvious, being 2024. Didn't do anything deliberate, just stated my opinion of my driving experiences. Y'all seem to add so much more to my thoughts than I post. Final thought, BEVs at the same price point ARE BETTER, if just for performance alone. Read into all the rest that you want. My MGs 2020 onward (at their price points), were better and or safer & more convenient 'for me' to drive. As always ... YMMV
