  1. Not many, and even less are active posters, for obviously reasons. I avoid most threads now, even ones I have an interest in, and developed a 'why bother' attitude. I see now the 'worst joke' thread is now being censored. As if the trolls and having discussions with children or the most ignorant adults isn't enough of a turn off.
  2. Wing 41 ... Chiang Mai. Seems the perfect purpose AC, slow & low flyer, with great great visibility capabilities, to patrol the border recon runs in support of the Army, police, and DEA. Cheaper, less operational & support cost, than say choppers, and man power to utilize.
  3. You sure it wasn't a knock off. I'm a big Electrolux fan, and they are far superior to other brands. Usually worth the extra. But do buy from the manufacturer or an authorized reseller, linked from the manufacturers website. Electrolux Microwaves carry a 2 yr warranty ... did you contact them before the 2yr expiration ? I've never needed, but I hear/read they do honor their warranties, as noted above. I'd probably replace present one with an Electrolux ... If my toaster (Tefal) should die, doubtful, as yet to have one die, as all that were replaced were simply upgrades. Old ones passed on to someone in need of one.
  4. Sad part is, most are suppose to be mature, in later life, but act totally irresponsible and clueless. Doing things they'd never do, or be allowed to do in home country. Embarrassing to say the least, and dangerous when things go horribly wrong. Sadly, a well deserved reputation in areas they congregate, which is best avoided by all, except those profiting by catering to them. And if people are concerned about the locals painting us all with the same brush, maybe y'all should associate with more intelligent, free thinking locals, who don't form their opinions from media reports. If you get all your info from MSM & the barstool ... well, nuff said. Misery loves company. Y'all like minded farangs and locals, will just enjoy the hated you feel for each other.
  5. Just a typical thread started by someone who hasn't a clue what they are talking about or asking, pops back in to answer 1 irrelevant question, while providing no info for anyone to give advice. That advice ranging from useless, no experience of, hearsay to simple Thai bashing of all things. Only useful answer, once info provided (age 51), and simple solution from the get go, just put in the daughter's name to begin with. 3 pages could have been answered in 2 posts.
  6. I think that depends on the woman, her upbringing, free thought, and location living. While hanging out at Central Plaza NST (Nakhon Si Thammarat) I was quite impressed with all the ladies. Smoking hot, free spirited, and completely opposite of MSM portrayal of. If not for the very fashionable, styling, dress, you'd never know they were Muslim. Not a burka in sight.
  7. None of the Above ... as I've lost total respect for the Legacy auto makers. Just a thought, stop buying the same ol' high maintenance crap. At least take a peek and test drive some of the other options. Happy Shopping
  8. Smog in north definitely keeps us away. Not just the farmers, but gov't burns their fair share. At the local park today, and this small fire will produce more smoke in 1 hour, that we do all year, burning what little trash we burn.
  9. If anyone is considering a usufruct to protect themselves from the wife ... RENT I only had them (usufructs) to protect myself, incase the wife died. Now the daughter is adult, and wills made, so present usufruct is irrelevant.
  10. Always good to have hands on some products. Make sure the toaster will center whatever you place in it for even toasting. Look at heating coils, make sure more than just a few, and evenly spaced on both sides. Optional selection buttons for 'timed' (30 seconds) for warming up, or 'frozen' items.
  11. Happy with this TEFAL Express, and about the āļŋ1000+/-. Accepts Makro burger rolls, so normal size bagel should fit. Might have bought from HomePro, as photo is from their listing. Or Makro, and see it on LAZ also. Best I've owned so far. Tefal Express name at different locations on different models, this matches ours:
  12. Yes, in 'Memory' Watching the above trailer, looks as if it's going to have few twists along along the way.
  13. Don't know if anyone posted this yet. but besides making Horizon's Neta v, the PTT's subsidiary Arun Plus, will also be making 2 more brands of electric vehicles (EVs) – ZEEKR and XPENG PTT being the state owned oil company, in case you think EVs are just a fad in TH. Yea ... let that one sink in, take as long as you need PTT ... Petrol & CSs, (mini malls) battery manufacturer and 3 different makes of EVs .. so far.
  14. booking.com shows 20+ hotels priced between āļŋ215 - āļŋ417 all in, for tomorrow 12 March. Options abound.
  15. Every one I did cost <100 baht at the land office, and was for 'use & modify', as 2 types available. Did 6 @ Udon Thani and 2 at Prachuap Khiri Khan.
  16. And EVs and things in between ...
  17. We had an oops, and RooJai was excellent, all around 👍👍
  18. ROOJAI Ins ... very happy with their coverage / pricing, and extremely happy with customer service after having an oops 👍
  19. I'm curious, what scooter do you actually have ? Any specs, cost, battery chemistry would be interesting know. Have I DECO (SUSU model), ride it most days, weather permitting, and charge it once every 4-7 days, when it's knocking on 2 bars (idiot meter). Owned 2.5 yrs, and haven't really noticed any degradation at all. Not LFP chemistry, so I don't top it up like I do the car. In your OP, you state, 'overnight charge use to give 30km range', which sounds very low spec, or crap charger. My small charger that came with the scooter, takes it from 20ish % to 100% in about 2+ hrs. Same with my ebike batteries, and only take about 2+hrs to charge about the SOC.
  20. Think OP needs to research what a usufruct is for and it's limitations. HINT: the usufruct dies when you do
  21. Probably because most aren't big on buses, or have experience with that route.
  22. Being people are too stupid not to feed them, the slingshots is a humane alternative. If not, within a season or 2, the vendor and people would be overrun with monkeys. Then they become very dangerous. Ask the folks at Lopburi
