I wouldn't think there are too many, if any, of those 599k baht ZSs left. Best value out there if looking for small family SUV ... IM bias HO
-
Not in my nature. I live with my choices, she'll live with hers. Don't have, as when she speaks in public, well, nuff said. Reading comprehension, as if Trump fumbled, then it's going exactly as I wish. 2024 ... HARRIS ... 2024 You say elected, but really, pres is appointed by EC, and I think we all know who controls them ... and it's not the citizens of the USA. From my quoted post, you missed ... "I know which one I would want to represent me .... but ... I also know which one I hope gets appointed. And they definitely aren't the same person."
-
Quite the opposite, and I'm pretty sure it went just as I would have expected.

ES even a better promo than EP. NO promo for the ZS, but an all new low price. Now 829k, which used to be the promo price, vs 869k and original MSRP 949k. Another van option, better priced than Maxus 9 @ 2.49M MG3 back, as a hybrid. If having nice suspension, would be fun to zip around town in. 0-100 kph @ 8 secs. Not a PHEV though.

Didn't watch it at all, and no plan to, especially if on a MSM moderated platform. What's the point, as bias right from the start. I can see plenty of vids of him talking policy, and his past experience of being president vs her vids of word salads. I know which one I would want to represent me .... but ... I also know which one I hope gets appointed. And they definitely aren't the same person.

No no no, I need a chuckle now and then, especially for non Yank political experts.
-
Thanks for pointing that out, as nobody would have figured that out. Anyone following my political interest, should realize by now, I have not, and don't even vote.
-
So this thread started 1 hr ago, and debate not even close to over, but has Harris winning, or has Trump against the ropes Classic leftist reporting If the debate ran 90 minutes, than it was over only 30 mins ago.
-
There was a debate ... Oh yea, today is the 11th. I am so tuned into USA politics Assuming from the first sentence of the OP, this will be just another Trump bashing thread. ENJOY

Latest carmaker to scale back its EV ambitions amid slowing sales
KhunLA replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Depends on one's age. I didn't want to miss out on the savings, and now realize, after owning, I would have definitely missed out on performance, when needed, or not 😁 At 67, knocking on 68 yrs old, when purchased, shy of 2 yrs ago, didn't want to wait much longer. Especially since they upgraded nicely since first arriving to TH, along govt actually paying me 240k to buy one. Pretty hard to say no to that at the time. And already had solar system on order. Win win all around, since not only avoiding the cost of petrol, don't even have to pay for the electrons Fast charging only an issue when away from home, which most aren't, so non issue for most. Balance against the weekly top up of an ICEV, I'm way ahead on spending time at 'top up' stations. Since I'm there anyway, for a stretch, dog walk, P and a munch, it really doesn't add much, if any to out stops when O&A. Not for everyone of course, but fits perfectly into our lifestyle. -
Latest carmaker to scale back its EV ambitions amid slowing sales
KhunLA replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Yep ... why they are so competitively priced, and other makers have to price drop to be competitive. When you make the most expensive component of your product, and the rest, most, have to buy from you or CATL (50% of market), it definitely gives you a pricing edge. When the battery sales is you main income flow, you can sell BEVs at cost if really wanting to, and still be profitable. source -
Do you know (Americans SS) to change ?

Hit & miss with common interests. Wife #2 gave me $2k to assist rehab first house before we were married or living together. The same day, my buddy was upgrading motorcycle, so I bought his at the dealer offered price. Really couldn't pass it up, damn bargain of the century. Yea, she was pissed, "you know, I didn't give you the money to buy a F'g MC" .... but every weekend, she wanted to go somewhere on it She got over it quite fast. Another GF with no experience, loved going to the gun range with, and was quite good. Best of course were the like minded sex freaks, and everyone's favorite hobby. Can't beat friends w/bennies when you're just chilling, and they call to make sure you don't have any company already, and want to pop over to get their freak on. Present wife has caught the wildlife photography bug. A good thing, as spots birds usually better than me. Along with enjoys going O&A, just for the hell of it, to sit somewhere different with a different view. So been lucky myself.

Got to love the fake news. Not a BEV, but a hybrid. Interesting ... what you never see in vids of this incident, the car self extinguishes the fire, within 25 secs. Car doesn't seem to be going that fast, but it does leave the ground.

Thai Restaurant Industry Faces Crisis, Urges Government Action
KhunLA replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
That's what happens when there is almost a monopoly on the food supply, and prices are raised to the point, restaurants have to raise their prices enough to make a profit, but the customer can no longer afford to dine out. At least as much as they use to. Hard enough for some to eat at home, at the same level as a year or 3 ago. I see 5-10-20% price increases every week, every month, almost across the board. And that's just for whole, raw foods for home cooking, not ever the processed stuff. All the basics up, petrol up, electric up ... salaries, not so much. -

Do you know (Americans SS) to change ?
KhunLA replied to OneManShow's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Or OP / @OneManShow can use a financial institution that doesn't charge to use ATMs and, reimburses the Thai bank's 220 baht charge. Why would you pay to access your own money ? -

Don't forget ... when the battery warranty expires, the battery of EVs are dead and need to be replaced ...

Don't use the internet search options much. Try Junyao Air, although you may get the airlines. Same guy owning and expanding to EV. Add 'electric vehicle' to search parameter. Articles & vids available Here, but not close to available .... yet. You'll have to Q up later to put your deposit down for it. Special paint job for you: https://car2day.com/2024-juneyao-air-electric-fastback-spy-shot-in-thailand/

Of course; childhood, family, ex coworkers, partners of girlfriends. How do you not have friends of both sexes ? I myself don't have here, by choice, any real friends. A few when living in Udon Thani. They been to my house, and me & wife to theirs. None here/PKK past 5 years. One family, though more friends of the wife.

I don't think a 3 month minor diet change is going to kill me. Especially changing the cooking oil. Not like I'm drinking a half pint every day. I really don't think I needed the statin, and why I stopped taking it after a few months. Interesting to see the difference in 3 different sets of numbers. Another check at the end of the year, and if all the same, then I don't need to start the statin again. Doubt if I would anyway, unless numbers way off. If numbers improved, well, all the better.

Online marketing, her own, and just started working for another online company, as seems to have too much time on her hands. She quit working for LAZ a few months back. Didn't seem to want to compensate her for her talent. Oh well. New job gave her a salary bump up of ~85& increase, and still has time to do her own thing. She just returned from short trip to CN, and found better manufacturer for her products. Thai labor cost are starting to get up there, and affected her bottom line. Plus she found materials not readily available here.
