Think they are realizing there is going to be a need in the future, along with profit potential. The most I've seen on the highways, aside from Tesla CS. PTT / EV Station Pluz HUB

Had go-tee or full beard most of my life. After I could actually grow one, which wasn't till late 20s. Only recently started shaving, as it comes in all gray now, and adds at least 10 year to my handsomeness. Always kept it nice and trimmed.

China Accuses U.S. of COVID-19 Origins in Escalating War of Words

Certainly wouldn't surprise me if true, though kind of irrelevant. One financing the 'weaponizing of the virus'. ... IMHO ... Stop calling it gain of function. The other actually doing it. Weaponizing then realizing it into the population, whether CN or the USA. A simply act of mass murder, and who profited from it .. hmm Nuff said there, and usually the perpetraters of most crimes. Also wouldn't surprise me if most of the US Congress, if not all, and president had no idea it was being done. One can hope anyway. The really sad part is, most of the world fell for the BS, hook line & sinker. Now many will be facing endless future health problems ... IMHO Well, those dumb enough to cower & comply and let them inject unapproved, untested ( IMHO ), experimental chemicals into themselves You really can't fix stupid. -

Smart traders made a mint. Only idiots, and inexperienced day traders sell on a down market. Long haul traders know not to, and Dow and S&P always rebound and goes up.

People may want to stop radiating the bodies with X-rays yearly. I have, and simply use an Oximeter to check my blood oxygen level. Inexpensive and most pharmacies that sell medical testing stuff should have. Might want to pick up a BP monitor while there or online. Omron is good brand, and many docs use. My Oximeter is yuwell brand, and again, same one that hospitals use.

@NoshowJones Lorazepam is a narcotic, no different that diazepam / Valiums, and may be illegal to carry through international airports without permission. Hope you have a script with you at check in, at BKK.

Do you drive a HILUX? Don't you wish everybody did?
KhunLA replied to GammaGlobulin's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
E van would work also, though slim pickins or to expensive. MG has 2, both more than I want to pay. One really plush @ 2.5M, the other I haven't peeked at, think it was 1.7M. No Thanks. I feel safe everywhere in TH. Have a dog & big A$$ knives. Random violence outside the touist ghetto is almost non existent. No worries. Small water tank and sump pump is all one would need for a make shift shower. Quick shower takes very little water. Not like I'd sleep in the truck every night. -

BEV ... E-Truck, all electric, not a hybrid. Can run the AC all night and sleep in comfort. It is TH, and damn hot most times. AC would use very little overnight, 12 hrs. But need a proper cargo bed, 2 meters or just shy of, so I can lay out. Pick up trucks now are nothing but SUVs with 1.5 meter bed, if lucky. I'm 175cm. And as you point out, they ain't exactly the most comfy ride. A BEV would be much better, hopefully. The MG E-pick up has the option to lower the window & wall between the cab & bed, but it's also ฿2.5M. Already have a car that we're very happy with, 2.5M for another ... nah, that's a bit too frivolous. Pick up would come in handy around the house, greenhouse / garden. A nice insulated cap, memory foam mattress bed, and a makeshift shower, would be nice. Don't need the whole RV pop up camper thingy, as again, too silly priced. Hotels are too inexpensive, and the 'camping view' isn't that important. Though would be nice & handy at times. -

Not sure why it's hard to understand, unless speed reading and missed the pet friendly part. If in an area that doesn't have pet friendly hotels, then we can simply park & camp where there's a nice view. Do we need a truck to camp ? Of course not, unless wanting AC comfort, that a BEV will provide. Tried 'camping' in the BEV SUV, and not really enough room for the 3 of us. It is a B class SUV, and TBH, they shouldn't call things that small a SUV. -

Well, a truck is quite practical, especially if your only vehicle and you're a home owner. If having a garden, almost a necessity in most 1st world countries. Not so sure about TH, as not much they won't deliver on the cheap. Of course in the villages, one is a necessity, in the family at least, as someone will need. Or good cheap transport when 10 family members all need or want to go to the place. I usually had a truck (petrol) in USA, and not always just for work. I enjoy a bit more of a comfy ride now, so sticking with SUV. Still peek at the slim BEV truck pickins. When a basic one is available, with a real cargo bed for <1M baht, I may even pick one up for some RV O&A cruising. Especially if our dog is still alive, as pet friendly hotels are a challenge to find sometimes. Wouldn't mind parking surfside or on a hilltop with a view, and camp with electric conveniences. -
Didn't read any attacks on gays. If you're bi or gay man and enjoy having sex with men, then enjoy. Just don't try to tell me you enjoy men, because you're a women. You're simply gay or bi. If you enjoy acting and dressing like a women, you're still not a woman or transitioning into one. You're just a bit different. Enjoy your uniqueness

Blair says current net zero policies 'doomed to fail'
KhunLA replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Blair is part of the problem, pushing the fake 'climate change' BS, when that was the in thing. Now big oil funds him, so what ever benefits him. He's right, need to produce more energy, and fossil fuel makes that easy. After his climate change policies help create the problem. ... "Environmental record Blair criticised other governments for not doing enough to solve global climate change. In a 1997 visit to the United States, he made a comment on "great industrialised nations" that fail to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Again in 2003, Blair went before the United States Congress and said that climate change "cannot be ignored", insisting "we need to go beyond even Kyoto." Blair and his party promised a 20% reduction in carbon dioxide. The Labour Party also claimed that by 2010 10% of the energy would come from renewable resources; however, it only reached 7% by that point. In 2000, Blair "flagged up" 100 million euros for green policies and urged environmentalists and businesses to work together." ... -wiki / Tony Blair Cutting nuclear instead of advancing it. Pushing alternative, like solar in a country known for crappy weather Cut in nuclear and the failed solar, not picking up the slack. Back to fossil fuels. Unless you still believe the MMCC/GW BS. ... "Low-carbon low The UK’s windfarms also had a challenging year in 2021, with generation falling by an estimated 15% – despite rising capacity – as a result of the lowest average windspeeds in a decade. Reduced sunshine hours and below-average rainfall caused 9% and 26% drops in solar and hydro generation, respectively, with the reported capacity of both sources barely changing. In combination with the decline in nuclear output, this means the UK’s low-carbon electricity generation saw its largest ever one-year fall of 17TWh, shown in the chart below." ... Do people still listen to that lowlife. The mouthpiece of big oil, stating giving up fossil fuel is a mistake. Shock, surprise, dismay ... ...
