  1. I Lovin' It All .... Every anti President Trump thread. Priceless Entertainment ... keep it coming. Straight out of the Wizard of OZ I'm Melting
  2. Finally found the post, stating a range chart for the MG ZS @ 18kWh/100kms, and strangely, that was the best in the chart. The reply post link: https://aseannow.com/topic/1246109-ice-vs-ev-the-debate-thread/page/101/#findComment-19458079 Info link: https://evkx.net/models/mg/zs/zs_ev_standard_range/chargingcurve/ The actually chart. Really don't know how their #s are so far off mine of <14kWh/100kms, along with all highway speeds, when able, except last 20 kms. I was also using the AC, as sunny and no window tint. Along with cruise control, which restricts regen when using.
  3. Real life vs BS. A while back, someone posted info about the MG ZS, average usage during test rating (NEDC or WLTP) of 18kWh per 100kms ... BS I replied we rarely, if ever use 14kWh/100kms. So, O&A today, PKK - Chumphon, and 3 photos; start, 1st traffic, so now less than highway speed, 88-90 kph when possible. Last, at destination. It's the longest stretch of highway, with no cross traffic/traffic lights. Start: At first traffic light, so now in slower traffic after 154 kms & ~ 2 hrs. Always happy if we can average 80 kph, which we did. Using 13.6kWh/100kms. With a 46.3kwh 'useable battery' equates to a range of 340 kms, on a full charge, all things being equal vs WLTP's 320 kms range at average of 47 kms. The BS 18kWh/100kms equates to 257 kms range 🙄 As I state many times, we average 360 around town (~12.8kWh/100kms), mix 30-60-90kph. And about 320-350 kms at highway speeds, when available; 87-90 / 110 ish in 120 kph zones. Of course in slower traffic, you squeeze a bit more range out of the battery. Last photo at destination, just 20+ kms further down the road, and now 13.4kWh for the trip, or 345 kms range on a full charge, all things being equal. The MG ZS seems to agree with me, as snapped this at 50%. 174 X 2 = 344 kms REAL LIFE EXPERIENCES vs INTERNET BS 😎
  4. My reply isn't about the person in the OP, but the prison system. I was replying to a BS reply to me, not about the OP. A bit off topic comparison. Are they killing prisoners in Imm detention center for overstay 🙄 Give it a rest fellows. A little reading comprehension goes a long way.
  5. Careful, someone will tell you 'he's a Brit', although our replies have nothing to do with the person in OP, but the prison system. That's cushy cell
  6. There's a big difference when 'turning yourself in' to immigration officer, than being arrest by Royal Thai Police. When at immigrations, leaving, you are technically 'turning yourself in', and they have the authority to collect & technically release you. As they do, and even 1st day free, or use to be. If PoPo catch you, then you were purposely 'hiding'. Wonder what would happen if PoPo stops you, and before they ask to see your PP, you 'turn yourself in' ... hmm All drama avoided of course, if you simply live here legally and respect their laws. You are a guest after all. The same as everyone expects people to behave in their home country
  7. comfort level - location dependent
  8. Maybe I'm not in the minority 1+1+2+14=18 12 2 ... I'm here all week, don't forget to top your waitress
  9. detention - prison call it what you want, you can't leave tortured ?
  10. Good years for myself also. Market means nothing to me, the scam that it is. But if understanding it, you can make a lot of money.
  11. It's the DailyMail, from anonymous source Photos from inside the prison, with a stack of snacks no less 🙄
  12. The governors and citizens of the border states (except CA) will probably be quite happy with that. A great place to have all the military, instead of overseas, playing corporate security.
  13. Nothing like the last 4 years. 20+% inflation, and that's just the fake Soc Sec COLA BS. Talk to anyone living in USA, it was a lot more than 20%. More like 20% a year
  14. Any birthright order won't make it pass the SCOTUS. Other immigration orders will probably hold. The sooner the better. Send the criminals back.
  15. $1100 might give you a decent existence + some nightlife, but don't think much will be left over, if any for savings. Hope you have an 'oops fund', and not just living month to month.
  16. This guy is worse than Ford. Highlights the farce of his administration. May go down as the worse and most embarrassing administration
  17. The Riddara is the less expensive of the 2 hitting the market in Thailand. So don't think they'll be cutting the price. MG Maxus is pretty cushy, so can't see that being <2M Crossed my mind to get the Riddara, as in my price range, but wanted for converting to RV. Having a pick up would be handy locally also, but since everything is delivered here, not really necessary. Talk myself out of it, as 2 four wheel vehicles is overkill for us. Wife will never give up the ZS.
  18. Met in 1997, ages 27 & 51, maybe. Didn't actually hook up till following year. Then 7 years later getting married in 2005. Independent aspiring model, wouldn't give him her phone number, but did take his. Sounds familiar, as wife told me no first time I asked her out. Similar age gap of myself and wife #3 & present wife. Meeting her at 50 years old, and she was 29. 8 yrs later got married. Wow, we're like twins, except I look better. OK, he has a wee bit more money than me
  19. You story has a few holes in it. Most states, DUI is a misdemeanor. Police don't set bail, a judge does. You wouldn't get put in general pop at country jail for traffic ticket. Nice try ... not really
  20. So she made him overstay ... ... never their fault. Lesson learned I hope, but I doubt it, as already making excuses.
  21. Probably in the minority, but IMHO, that's exactly how prison should be. Punishment, not the comfy stay like in the USA.
  22. In the past when everyone was slim, the didn't fill all the food on the shelves with sugar & hydrogenated oils. I'm the opposite, high fat & protein, very low carb diet. And feel good about it. Not just mentally, but all the aches & pains I wrote of to old age, being 65 then, are gone now at 70. I'm going to continue listening to my body, and the numbers from the blood tests. All better without the carb, simple & complex.
  23. Does surprise me, and I was one of those, that when diet, sugar & alcohol is discussed, always get ... ... I know so & so, 80 & 90 years old ... or I feel fine and eat what I want. Docs have been telling for years, BP is high, sugars high, don't let it get higher, and cut back. 5 yrs ago, I decided to listen, as starting to feel like crap, with more inflammation than I think a 65 yr old should be experiencing. BP back in 2020 high with 10 more kgs being carried around. BP now <120/65 ish
