Not the US and just for info, but a few years ago sent documents from Thailand to Luxembourg with EMS. Tracked the package up to entry to Luxembourg airport and then no further update. After a few days of not showing delivered started contacting Post lux and Thai post about why the parcel is not delivered. No real answer but about 15 days later received a reply that the documents had been delivered and tracking was showing delivered.

Bangkok Bank App Sending funds to UK
freeworld replied to jasonr3255's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
This is on Bangkok banks website "FCD Account for Non-Residents is for foreigners who would like to hold incoming foreign funds without needing to immediately convert them to baht or for those living in Thailand who want to convert and save their Thai earnings in a foreign currency" -
It is all over the place, the land of the free. Came across this video yesterday on ABC news, a case of mistaken identity, a pensioner arrested by armed agents and thrown in prison. The lady now has to prove in court she is not the woman that the federal agents arrested for some parole violation in the 90's.

Aware that masonry blocks come in 10cm width and various other sizes in many countries (qcon manual shows different sizes they have available) Yes blocks can be interlocked to tie them together. Masonry butting up against concrete columns are usually tied together with metal strips affixed or embedded in/to the concrete columns at intervals. There are different ways to do it, depends on the purpose, support, design considerations, the manufacturer technical specs, cost and building regulations etc... As for your design assumptions, no comment. For info here some details and info from Qcon block manual (don't know which block supplier you have but you could check with them) https://qcon.co.th/th/what-is-alc-block-/q-con-alc-block-manual#ขั้นตอนการก่อผนังอิฐ Q-CON

Don't know your layout or how the roof is supported. 100mm wide block is quite narrow so may because of stability and the joints are quite thin. Here is a video laying qcon blocks, they show concrete posts at the corners and these look 100mm wide.

Everyones financial sources and tax is different, as it is in most countries. The only advice a potential tax payer should get is they are responsible for their own tax affairs and should read the tax codes, read the DTA or get the advice of a tax accountant or RD revenue officer.

Advice request on where and how to get a TIN, Chiang Rai area
freeworld replied to localexpat's topic in Chiang Rai
Not because they want Thailand to tax you. The OECD countries are the instigator of this and want all financial information transparent to tax authorities to ensure taxes are being paid according to the law and they have some control over this to reduce money laundering and tax evasion. -
