The Mrs and I lived in Chiang Mai for several years - it has been 4 years - but on that basis. All the Gassan courses are all good - Legacy best - they all have water. Summit Green, Mae Jo, Alpine and Highlands are all good. Chiang Mai Inthanon is worth the drive and while there, go up the mountain to the highest point in Thailand - great place to spend a day - there are two 'Temples' there worth the look and the views are fantastic. Never played Aritaya, and Lanna is a nutter course - there is a big tree about 180-200 yards from the tees on nearly every par 4/5 whole (what were they thinking). There are two 8 hole courses that are cheap and maybes - Pimantip (OK) and Hang Dong (cheapy). Chiang Mai is the best golfing Province in Thailand - there are lots of courses, many are very good, and they are not a rip-off like those in Bangkok, Hua Hin, Pattaya and Phuket. If it was not for the 'smoke season' we would be living there. Dont book ahead at this time of year - up there the storms can be huge. Book accommodation (not in the Old City) and then book golf games - very easy to get around Chiang Mai - except in Old City part. Go to Doi Suthep too - well worth the drive up there. It is a great city to live - pity about the smoke. We will be there later in the year - will spend 2 weeks and play a few of the courses.

Islam is a cancer - pure and simple. Yes - if you have a non-immigrant O Visa - any type, including Tourist - then you can do what you said for sure. Have some document to prove where you are staying/living - rental agreement - wife's blue book etc etc. Go to Immigration with Wife and Marriage Certificate and Passport and get a Residency Certificate. Then take all that and go to the bank head Office in the nearest big Mall and apply to open an account. Bangkok Bank or Krungsri will never refuse anyone meeting those conditions and with that paperwork and who has 400K in their hands.

Exactly the issue - my kids were never a problem as well. This issue for me started many decades ago when on one long international over-night flight there was a very young child (2?) who literally screamed for hours and the mother refused to let the stewardess give the child anything (like Panadol) - she even got the Doctor on the plane to explain to the woman that the child was probably in pain from ear pressure problems and that if it was given some Panadol that would reduce the inflammation and pain. She still refused. People were yelling at her - but she would not back down - her wimpy beta male husband was scared of her and said nothing. When we got to the carpark after getting our luggage, guess who was there waiting in the queue at the pay machine - yep there she was. I told the wife and the kids to go to the car. I then gave her an absolute gobfull - I started it with the words 'You are a (female anatomy part)" I then proceeded to stand in her face and tell her what she was - when she started yelling back 'l I can do that I want' - I told her if she said another effing word I was going to punch the <deleted> out of her - and I meant it - and I said to the husband if he moves that I will kill him (he almost cried). I then gave her absolute sheite - she was crying, the kid was crying, the other older kid was crying, and the bloke did nothing. I eventually calmed down (getting angry now thinking about it) and told her to take her kids and her useless (male anatomy part) and get the 'expletive' away from all of us and wait until we have all finished paying for the carpark. She walked away. I then apologised to the people waiting at the pay machine - they all said thank you (they were on the same flight) and they looked at the woman - she then got the message I reckon 🙂

They then proceeded to hide behind and under the Gaza citizens and threatened to kill hostages if Israel did not negotiate. Israel then took decisive action and declared war on Gaza and invaded - it was not a find and capture 'police' act anymore - it was a war. Hamas and their terrorist supporters continued to hide behind and under citizens, and then decried any actions by Israel that caused death or injury to 'citizens' - greatly exaggerated of course and ignorantly reported by the BS media. No - the number is correct. Here in Thailand the people know that cars and bikes dont always stop, so they cross very carefully. In the west they walk out as if they are protected by God - often without even looking. One day I was driving when a bloke on a bicycle flew across a crossing and I stopped just in time. He was screaming and abusing me, so I got out and told him the law is that he must stop and get off the effing bike and walk across the crossing - so take that bike and eff off or I will shove it up your arzzze !! I probably saved him from a serious injury/death because he genuinely though he could ride across. That is why more pedestrians die in the west than Thailand - they feel entitled and just dont have any real sense about the dangers involved.
