Wrong! There were NOT concentration camps for all German and Italian Americans. They did NOT have their property, money, and businesses stolen en masse. Last resort only in case things go south for me in Thailand and there aren't any viable / more desirable third country options. But for Americans as no visa needed, it's worth keeping up on specific geographic options there. If you're wealthy, anywhere, but as most of use aren't, that would be lower or lower cost geographical options. How could things go south? So many ways. Health, visas, finances, yes. Never say never.
