Question for Sheryl for over 20 years was on "Enalapril" do not understand why Drs keep changing the Med's must have had 7 or 8 different types in past 8 years.. I did ask a year or 2 ago why, Dr said then 'enalapril' is a very old drug there are a lot of better med's then 'enalapril' these days ?? appears most don't work for me ! There are others in the Village that are Diabetic + high BP problems, asked 2 friends both in there 50's also take losartan [Via Private Hospital] and appear the same, always feel tired and worn out

Yes true, but most things one asks, being English I tend to go with what it say's on the English NHS websites Over the years have noticed a large difference to what UK health say and what USA health websites say

Had a mini heart attack 2016, also a mild stroke 24 years ago staying well hydrated? drink at least 3 lt water per day At the time was using Red Cross Hospital 2016 - 2921 Covid time, change to local Village Hospital.. [saving over 3 hours Public transport travel per visit]\ QUESTION: Red Cross Hospital put me on Bisoprolol 5 mg per day Local Hospital said 'No Have' and put me on Dozozin 2 mg? is same ? As in your reply says "Doxazosin for prostate" Should I try to find a Pharmacy that sells Bisoprolol 5 mg ??

Yes June last year Dr said take none for a week as was often low.... looking back on my daily records I keep after 1 week my BP was 221/118 [this was on same machine at the hospital] = Dr said 1 week on 50mg then reduced to 25mg Problem is it is going up all last week was in the 160/85+ every day - Yesterday BP 177/87 - this morning 167/91... thinking maybe should take 25mg 1 day and 50mg next and see what the reading is Try to level it out ? what do you suggest ? It is what I do for years with my Insulin > take according to readings every morning.. it is very hard ... like yesterday woke up in a sweat + cold + the shakes = BS 62 - did not take any Insulin yesterday, this morning still only 102 so took only 1/2 normal units.

Just looked on my Prescription is Losartan 25mg.. The Dr did put me on 100 mg mornings when they took me off Amlodipine , but often by lunch time was very low and passing out, 2 x taken to Hospital so was reduced to 50 mg, often low so now on 25 mg, only take the 50 mg if high. = a bit of a yo-yo in readings Sheryl - Question what about taking 1/2 mornings and the other 1/2 evenings > would that keep it more constant over 24 hrs ? No good asking my Village Hospital Dr, never any idea who it maybe + they rush to get you in & out, The Dr I did see for over 2 years has moved to a private hospital Last appointment week ago he just looked on my Blood work tests said good, then all good not sure he could even speak English,,,, I did ask + had it written down in English + Thai - I did not want 1 x prescribed med because I had 320 day supply, still got them anyway so now have over 400 days supply !! Not sure I could face the 12 hr round trip going back to Red Cross Hospital.

Dr BP meds I had since 1991 are classed as very old and newer improved Med's is Amlodipine = severe ankle and foot swelling for me, Dr tried other things also ending in pine = the same eg Manidipine I take for past 4 years Losartan 20mg, mornings, but go on my BP readings every morning if low do not take > if over 165/88 then take 40 mg.. Also take Dozozin 2 MG 1 x Evening > recommended dose for Male age 74 is 6 mg, have tried 4 mg but also get ankle and foot swelling, so stick on 2mg

My size boxers and shorts is 2 or 3 XL > but here must go 5 or 6 XL For years always buy from Lazada, as there are many Big or Plus sizes Agree with Jingthing buy 1 only to start to see if they fit As for there size charts, think it is bit hit and miss ? or they just copy from another advert Years ago there was a XL Outfitters in Central, they were good and a good price [think most of the stuff came from the USA = maybe were rejects in there home market as often there were flaws]

The same large download on both Laptop & PC the same day ? After you clean 'C' drive maybe a good idea to set all Downloads to 'D' drive also if you check on 'C' drive should tell the size of each file + when it was downloaded if your not sure on something big, could always send it to 'D' drive = you still have it but have freed up space on 'C' also check on 'Start' and see what was recently added

I will wait for a couple of years more and see Carbon fiber battery at least 50% weight reduction + 1,000 km + per charge ,sounds more tempting Look how far Petrol engines progressed, my 1st 3 cars did between 12 - 16 miles per gallon

Ear nose and throat Hospital Pinklao almost everyone speaks good English > went for years for eyes, but go to Red Cross since 2016 [lot cheaper] As for ear wax both ears cleaned 800 baht last year [full of hard wax and hair] had to go every 2 or so for past 10 years when I can no longer hear have tried this over the counter drops - bobbles a lot but appears not to clean, others that use this appear to have to do it every week for best results

My Blood Pressure Numbers are always Normal - I'm Confused .
ignis replied to Bill Poster's topic in Health and Medicine
I'm 74, been taking Blood Pressure Med's for over 30 years, for years mine were like yours a bit low, 2 years ago Dr took me off BP med's for 2 weeks went up to high 200/100+ so was put back on them again but a lower mg per day, now always around the same every day between 145 - 160 over 68 to 90. appears Dr thinks this is good... My 90 day Hospital Visit was last Friday = at the Hospital + 2 different machines 158/67 + 160/74 maybe will try different mg per day so take the 1/2 dosage Prescribed 1 day and full tablet the other ?? is what I have done for years with my Insulin - use dosage according to Blood Sugar reading. -
Be sure it says AIR MAIL on the Envelope Registered mail is a lot cheaper than EMS..... Air mail is just that it goes by plane, I find it has arrived within 6 days

No idea how normal mail comes/goes to Australia From UK to Thailand normal mail > re Royalmail.co.uk website states they aim delivery in 59 days. I did asked Royal Mail a few years ago > the answer was normal post > truck to sorting office > truck to Southampton > ship to Singapore > truck to sorting office > over land to Malaysia sorting office > overland to Thailand sorting office > truck to local office > out for delivery Now a day the only mail sent, as they still insist to send so say is my Pension letters, out of 5 said 100% sent letter, only 1 arrived and took 18 months to arrive.. = every 2 year have to go to the great expense on phoning them [phone answered then on hold then to all the options then wait for someone to answer, then a pile of security questions = normal take 45 mins on a mobile phone = then then ask if I still have the same email = then send the forms via email within a hour > No they cannot email me without sending a letter which never arrives first !! that is progress in the modern day ? in the old days here the postman came 1 x a day to the Village if anyone had post, these days there are 3 post delivery men per day.

You may want to think about the tax per year, it changed 2 or 4 door under2 lt is a lot cheaper per year, Road Tax now is on engine size.. Toyota Hilux Revo ROCCO is 2.4 or 2.8 lt so over double the road tax every year !! Re Ford. our 2019 Ranger XLT was trouble free, sold last year with 388,000 km, the New Gen Ranger XLT is even better, taxed last week = 1 year old + 98.000km trouble free comfortable motoring Test drive and see what you like best
